Where we'll connect with the energy of your inner child.
The Root Chakra,
Located at the base of your spine,
Is the foundation of your physical and emotional well-being.
It represents safety,
Stability,
And grounding.
By reconnecting with your inner child,
You can heal past wounds and reinforce a sense of security within yourself.
Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed.
Sit or lie down in a position that feels supportive and relaxing.
Close your eyes or softly lower your gaze and let's begin.
Start by taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Do this a few times,
Allowing each breath to bring you into the present moment.
Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine,
Where your Root Chakra resides.
Imagine roots extending from this point,
Growing deeper into the earth.
With each breath,
Feel these roots anchoring you,
Providing stability and connection to the earth's energy.
Feel the strength and support from the ground beneath you.
In your mind's eye,
Imagine yourself as a child at a time when you felt safe and secure.
Picture this child version of yourself standing before you.
Notice the details,
How old you are,
What you're wearing,
And the expression on your face.
Invite your inner child to sit beside you.
Imagine yourself holding their hand or offering a warm embrace.
Let your inner child know that they are safe with you,
That you are here to listen and care for them.
Now visualize a warm red light at the base of your spine.
This is the energy of the Root Chakra.
See this light growing brighter and more vibrant,
Filling your entire lower body with its warmth and stability.
As you breathe in,
Imagine this red light extending to your inner child,
Surrounding them in its protective glow.
With each breath out,
Release any fear,
Insecurity,
Or instability that might have been holding you back.
Let the red light wash away these feelings,
Replacing them with a deep sense of safety and security.
Tell your inner child that it's okay to feel safe now,
That you are strong and capable of taking care of both of you.
Feel the connection between your adult self and your inner child strengthened with each breath,
Grounded in the energy of the Root Chakra.
Repeat silently or aloud the following affirmations,
Allowing each one to resonate deeply within you.
I am safe and secure.
I am grounded and connected to the earth.
I trust in the stability of my life.
I am capable of providing for my needs and the needs of my inner child.
I release fear and embrace safety and security.
I am safe and secure.
I am grounded and connected to the earth.
I trust in the stability of my life.
I am capable of providing for my needs and the needs of my inner child.
I release fear and embrace safety and security.
Feel these affirmations anchoring into your Root Chakra,
Empowering you and your inner child with a sense of unwavering stability.
As the red light begins to gently fade,
Feel the roots that have connected you to the earth drawing back into the base of your spine.
This leaves you grounded and secure in your being.
Thank your inner child for joining you in this healing process.
Let them know that they are always safe within you and that you can return to this place of peace and security whenever you need to.
When you're ready,
Begin to bring your awareness back to the room.
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes.
Gently roll your shoulders and take one final deep breath.
Open your eyes knowing that you are grounded,
Safe and secure in your body and in your life.
Carry this sense of stability and protection with you as you move through the rest of your day.
