Welcome,
This is your invitation to return,
To return to the sacred ground,
To return to your sacred breath and to return to your sacred self.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,
Sitting or laying down,
Somewhere where you feel supported.
Allow your eyes to gently close or soften your gaze.
Bring one hand to your belly and one to your heart.
Feel your body right there,
With you,
Present,
Breathing,
Alive.
Now take a gentle inhale through your nose and a longer,
Slower,
Softer exhale through your mouth.
Let everything go in through your nose,
Soft,
Slow,
Out your mouth.
Let your shoulders soften and again as you inhale,
Feel your belly rise and exhale,
Letting go of anything you do not need to carry.
Then gently close your mouth and as you continue to breathe in and out the nose,
Begin to imagine yourself standing barefoot on the sacred earth.
Maybe it's a forest floor,
Perhaps a warm beach,
A grassy field,
Wherever feels most nurturing and familiar to you.
Feel the sacred ground beneath you,
Steady,
Quiet.
The earth doesn't rush,
She doesn't push,
She simply holds.
With each breath let yourself be held to.
Inhale and feel your breath move down through your body.
Exhale,
Feel your energy gently dropping,
Grounding into the earth below.
Let the weight of the day begin to melt off your shoulders.
Let the noise of the world fade to a whisper.
Let the pull in every direction loosen its grip and you feel yourself becoming centered,
Calm,
Steady.
You are here now with the sacred earth,
With your sacred breath,
With your sacred self.
Now bring your awareness to your feet,
Whether they're physically on the ground or not and imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet and these roots reach down through the layers of soil,
Stone and time.
Feel them anchoring you into the ancient steadiness of the earth.
With every breath those roots deepen,
With every breath your nervous system softens.
There is nothing to prove here,
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to chase.
Nature does not push,
And neither do you.
Trees don't hurry to grow themselves,
The ocean doesn't apologize for its waves,
The Sun doesn't worry if it shines too brightly.
In nature's presence you remember you belong exactly where you are in this moment.
So hold this moment now and imagine your body receiving the medicine of nature.
Feel the Sun warming your skin,
The breeze gently moving through your hair,
The steady grounding presence of the earth beneath you.
Inhale and feel yourself arriving fully in your body.
Exhale and feel yourself letting go into the stillness beneath everything.
You are not separate from this sacred earth,
You are made of it.
You're not here to be or live disconnected,
You are here to remember your rhythm.
Begin to notice your breath again,
A little slower,
A little deeper.
Each inhale is a returning,
Each exhale a release.
Inhale I am grounded,
Exhale I am safe.
Inhale I am whole,
Exhale I am home.
Let those words settle into your bones,
Let them echo in your energy field,
And now with this groundedness in your body,
Feel the inner wisdom and gently begin to return to the space you're in.
Wiggle through your fingers,
Wiggle through your toes,
Feel the surface beneath you and take one last slow breath,
Feeling the earth beneath you even now,
Steady,
Solid,
Supportive.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Notice how you feel,
And let this grounded state guide you for the rest of your day.
You can return to this calm anytime you need.
Just breathe,
Just touch this sacred earth and come back to yourself.
Thank you for sharing space.
