Hello and welcome,
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Whether that be seated or laying,
And ensure that your spine is lovely and long,
That your hands rest comfortably,
Naturally.
Soften your gaze,
Or gently close your eyes,
And let's take three grounding breaths,
Breathing in through the nose,
And long and slow out the mouth.
In through the nose,
And exhaling out the mouth,
And feel that release.
One more inhale,
And a gentle sigh out through the mouth.
And then when you feel ready,
Gently allow your lips to close,
And the breath to return to the nose.
Notice the quality of this breath.
Is it long?
Is it short?
What is your breath reflecting to you?
What is it helping you to realize?
If your mind is busy,
Smile at the thoughts,
Allow yourself to come back.
Come back to presence,
Come back to the power of observing your breath.
