Now let's immerse in today's relaxation episode.
I suggest that you find yourself in a place where you are able to be comfortable and will be undisturbed.
A time for you to connect with the inner you.
Bring a smile to your face and as you exhale feel that smile broaden.
A smile of compassion,
One of nurturing,
One of honoring this sacred space and time that you have gifted to yourself.
With your eyes open you feel your breath flowing in and out of you.
The gentle rhythms of your own life force reminding you of this moment.
With your eyes open you look around at your surroundings and you notice the stillness of your physical body.
Let your mind drift through with the thoughts of the busyness and the activity of your day and then acknowledge that this time is for you,
This sacred,
Nurturing time.
And as you breathe in,
Breathe in with the full awareness of where you are.
And as you breathe out,
Gently close your eyes and give them permission to rest.
Your mind wanders and gently you call it back to the intention of it following your breath.
In and out it flows.
With each inhalation you feel the expansion of your body.
The universe flowing into you,
Nourishing you.
Each exhalation it washing from you what is not yours.
You feel the tension melting away,
The tightness of your body,
The restriction in your jaw.
Everything seems to melt as you exhale.
And the universe flows back into you,
Filling the spaces that you have now created.
Through letting go,
Your mind follows this ebb and flow of your life force.
With curiosity,
You begin to feel the expanded self.
The inhalation,
The universe flowing into you,
Filling you with abundant light.
Each exhalation washing from you anything that does not nourish and gift you peace.
Breath flowing in,
Breath flowing out.
You feel within your body the continual deepening of relaxation.
When you feel the tension leave,
You feel relaxed,
Connected,
Supported where you are.
The next inhalation flows into you,
Nourishing you.
And then again on the exhalation you find another depth,
Another level as you find even more to let go of.
It is as though your physical form is melding into where you sit or lay.
Deeper and deeper you go.
Breath flowing in,
Breath flowing out.
Breath in,
Breath out.
Notice the sensations that come up whether they be thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions.
Just observe them,
Let the breath flow through them,
Nourishing them and cleansing them.
Feel the open expanded self that was found through breath and letting go.
This calm,
Peaceful feeling that you are experiencing is always within you.
If only you allow the breath to lead you within to find it.
With your next inhalation breathe a little deeper.
Feel how that changes your physical form as you feel the chest and the abdomen expanding further.
And then as you exhale,
Exhale deeply and begin to feel through your body,
Moving your fingers,
Your hands.
Stretching out until you feel ready to open your eyes and return to the full awareness of awake and ready to embrace the rest of your day with the newfound compass of calm within you.
The breath will always lead you back to the moment.
It will ground you and anchor you in your strength.
My prayer that you continue to find that inner strength and resilience.
