A Journey Through The Chakras Meditation

This is a 15-minute Guided Meditation.  You are led in a journey through the Chakras to tone, balance, and recalibrate your major energy centers.  Allow yourself to connect with your unique subtle body.

Transcript

A journey through the chakras.

Make yourself comfortable sitting or lying down.

Letting the eyes gently close and beginning to tune into the breath.

Letting the air go in and out of your nose all the way down into your lungs,

Your belly.

And the very slow and subtle release that the exhale offers.

Begin to feel your breath as a pulse.

The rhythm of your body.

The rhythm of your being.

See if you can slow your breath down even more so that you can tune into the subtle layers of what's truly going on inside.

As your breath slows,

Your body relaxes.

And as your breath gets deeper,

Your mind softens and you're able to let the thoughts go just for this period of meditation.

Taking one more big cleansing intentional breath.

And then imagine white light surrounding your entire body and that white light shimmers,

Dazzles and begins to move through your body healing,

Balancing each cell.

And now bringing your attention to the very bottom of your tailbone,

The very bottom of your pelvic bones.

And this is your root chakra.

And as you focus your attention there,

You see a red ball of light beginning to form.

And that red ball continues to grow and grow wider and brighter and spin more freely.

This energy center is connected to being grounded,

To feeling safe and secure in this world,

In your body,

Mind and soul,

Associated with the earth element,

Knowing that we have to feel safe and grounded,

Centered in who we are before we can explore other parts of life and other parts of ourselves.

And as you breathe and tune in with that red color and this energy center in your body,

Allow yourself to feel so safe,

Connected with the mother earth,

Connected with all that's grounded in you.

And then bring your attention above to your pelvic region below your navel,

Your sacral chakra.

The color is orange.

And as you begin to see that orange ball of light beginning to form and grow wider and brighter and more luminescent,

Connecting in with all that it means,

Your creativity,

Your desire and pleasure associated with the element of water,

Because it's about your flow,

How you're able to flow through life,

How you're able to embrace new ideas and inspiration.

Seeing that orange light and just imagine yourself flowing like a wave in the ocean,

Creating whatever comes your way,

Staying peaceful and calm through it all.

Bursting with creativity,

Bringing pleasure for satisfying all your desires.

Letting your attention go further up,

Right above your navel now to the solar plexus chakra,

Your power center,

You begin to see a small yellow ball of light forming above your navel.

And this ball grows,

Expands as you breathe,

As you connect in,

As you see the yellow light grow brighter,

Shinier,

More vibrant like the sun.

And when this chakra is open and balanced,

You feel empowered,

You're living from your truths,

Connecting into your authentic nature,

Who you really are,

Your innate being that's come into this world for a purpose,

With passion,

With fire,

So connected with your truth,

So connected with your strength,

And with your ability to let that radiate out into the world.

Feeling that strength and that power cultivate brighter and wider throughout your entire being now,

And letting your attention move up to your heart center,

The heart chakra,

Seated in the chest,

The energetic heart,

And the color is green.

You see that green ball of energy expand out,

Illuminate before your eyes,

So beautiful,

So graceful,

And connecting into love,

Not surface love,

But big divine unconditional love,

Having compassion,

Deep compassion for yourself and for others,

How we all fit together as one,

And not only feeling love,

But living from love.

When you connect into this energy center,

It's hard not to feel that.

As you see that green light continue to expand out through your chest,

You're in awe of just how much love can come from inside of you,

How much it can burst up and burst out with a little focus and concentration.

And continue letting your awareness go up to your throat chakra,

And the color is blue,

And you see a blue ball of energy beginning to spin in your throat,

Brilliant,

Bright blue,

And as that ball expands and connects with all the centers below it,

You realize this is about speaking your truth.

The solar plexus has allowed you to understand your truth,

Your authenticity,

And the throat allows you to communicate that outward,

To communicate your ideas,

Your creativity,

Your authenticity,

And your unique gifts out to the world.

No fear of judgment or criticism,

Just honesty with sharing,

Knowing that you're safe.

And as you continue to see that blue ball of light open,

Spinning freely in your throat,

Your attention continues going up to your third eye point,

Point on your forehead between the eyebrows,

And the color is deep indigo purple.

You see this ball of light beginning to expand and open up on your forehead like a vortex to yourself,

To the divine,

Representing all of your wisdom,

All of the wisdom that innately lives inside of you,

Connected to your soul,

Connected to all your lessons in this lifetime,

As well as ancestral DNA that we take with us,

Connecting in to your intuition,

Your truth that we just simply know when we get quiet,

When we ask,

And when we listen.

And letting your awareness move up now to your crown chakra,

A beautiful violet color sitting on top of your head,

And see this majestic crown of violet energy,

Violet light as a ring around your head,

Representing your connection to oneness,

To source,

To all that is divine,

Connecting you with something greater and simultaneously realizing that that greater thing is you.

You are part of that oneness,

Part of the whole.

You are divine.

Now imagine that violet light spilling down your body,

Cascading around you,

Making a cocoon,

And that bright violet light merges with the white light,

And you feel like you're basking in magic and brilliance,

In healing beautiful energy.

And now as if looking at yourself from the outside,

You see all the chakras fully illuminated,

The violet at the top,

The dark indigo purple of the third eye,

The blue in the throat,

The brilliant green in the heart center,

The yellow in the solar plexus,

The vibrant orange in the pelvis,

And the bright red at the bottom of the sit bones,

Right at the bottom of your spine,

All connected and complete,

All spinning freely,

Open,

And in the divine order and harmony that they should be.

And as you see all of those energy centers perfectly stacked,

Perfectly balanced,

Open,

Illuminated,

You see the white light sparkling around your entire body.

So much peace,

So much value is here.

Merging back in with your body,

Feeling all those energy centers,

Feeling the white light wrapping you in warmth,

Feeling so calm,

Connected,

And complete.

Taking another few breaths and feeling the peace that envelops your being,

Taking your time coming out,

Beginning to softly blink your eyes open to move about the rest of your day when you feel ready.
