Welcome to this guided meditation.

Today our practice will be centered around bringing in abundance into our lives.

Abundance can mean so many things and it's far beyond money and monetary things,

But abundance of joy and happiness,

Prosperity,

Health,

And above all love.

With our practice today we will use our breath,

We will scan our body,

And we will begin to create an offering and an intention welcoming in this abundance into our lives.

Beginning our practice together we find a comfortable seat that will help you stay engaged for the duration.

So perhaps that is on a chair or seated on the floor with your legs crossed or even your legs extended,

But I suggest you may find a nice upright spine that feels elongated,

That feels strong from the root through the crown of the head.

Abundance we begin to settle into our bodies here and into this stillness together.

We begin a little scan of just noticing anything that you've brought with you to this practice,

Anything that might be on your mind,

Anything that might be in your physical body calling out to you to move it or you're noticing a little aches or pains.

And just notice them and ask yourself if you can set that aside for this very brief time together.

And how we may do that is simply noticing whatever that might be,

Adding just a label and imagine putting it on a shelf and telling it I'll be back for you later.

I'm just going to set you aside here for a few moments while I build this practice and then begin to notice your breath.

Where did you notice it first?

In the belly,

The chest or perhaps it entering into the nostrils.

This breath will be the foundation of our practice today.

And I invite you to start to notice the breath coming in through the nostrils and try to follow it upwards,

The bridge of the nose,

Any sensations you might be able to detect.

Can you follow the breath through the inhale,

That gentle pause between and can you watch the entire exhale as if you were standing outside of your body watching this breath just be.

On our next inhale,

We begin to scan the body with our breath so that we may relax and settle in and turn completely inwards for our work.

On the next inhale,

Following it in and sending it down to our feet.

Simply noticing anything in that area,

Any surface we might be in contact with.

Following the next breath in and sending it down to the ankles.

Continuing up the body,

The shins and the calves.

When we connect with our bodies,

We come back to our place where we originate our feelings and our thoughts,

Our emotions and our energies.

It allows us to turn inward by just noticing these places we just give no mind to during our day unless there's a pain or something that startles us or grabs our attention.

This practice of scanning takes us out of the wheel of continuous thought and just brings us to these focused breaths.

Getting us in touch with our senses.

On the next breath,

Breathing in and noticing the knees and the thighs.

Perhaps the fabric of your clothes.

Can you feel the weight of your hands that might be resting on your legs?

Breathing into the hips and the low back.

Breathing into the belly and filling that area,

Offering relaxation.

And continue this breath as you follow up each vertebrae to the upper back and the shoulders.

Allowing the arms to maybe settle in more and relax down away from the ears.

Sensing for the upper arm and the forearm.

The wrists and the fingers.

Perhaps noticing the temperature of the space you are in.

Any tingling sensations.

Do your hands even feel attached or of substance?

It's just out there.

Breathing into the neck and the throat.

Breathing in and relaxing all the muscles in the face.

Those around the jaw,

The forehead that we might crinkle up.

And just softening the face.

And I invite you to maybe add a gentle smile to your face.

It relaxes and can help us on our journey of releasing and relaxing.

Bringing your attention back to the breath coming into the nostrils.

And connecting with our intention today to draw to us all of these qualities and these aspects that we'd like to have in our life.

What is it that you like to attract into your reality?

Is it a job?

A new career or opportunity?

It could be a business idea.

Going to school or back to school.

Perhaps it's love or friendships.

Or building a family.

What all of these things have in common are what we believe we will feel once we have them.

We believe we will feel joy and love and happiness.

That all begins from the inside.

We invite and welcome in all of this abundance into our life by first feeling it.

Cultivating those feelings within us attracts more to us.

If we want love,

We must be love.

If we want joy,

We must be joy.

It begins also with trusting.

Trusting that this will come to you.

When the sun sets,

We don't act out in fear that it won't rise again.

We trust.

And without fail,

When dawn breaks,

The sun rises.

Attracting can be challenging when we need to overcome these fears that stand between us and what we think we want.

And so I offer this mantra for us to practice today.

I have full faith in the power of the universe to deliver to me what I need when I need it.

I have full faith in the power of the universe to deliver to me what I need when I need it.

As you breathe in,

Let this mantra settle into your heart.

I have full faith in the power of the universe to deliver to me what I need when I need it.

I have full faith in the power of the universe to deliver to me what I need when I need it.

Bring to mind what you desire most.

Imagine all the things that you will feel from having this in your life.

Begin to cultivate what would that feel like.

Imagine you have this already.

And connect so deeply and with the trust that this will come to you in its right time,

In its right form,

For the highest good of all.

As doubts creep up in your mind,

Thoughts of unworthiness,

Fear,

The what-ifs.

You come back to that mantra in your heart.

I have full faith in the power of the universe to deliver to me what I need when I need it.

Having our desire is great fuel for life.

But the universe might have an even better idea than we could have ever imagined.

When we set that fear aside and we put it on that shelf and we say,

I'll get back to you later.

I don't need you right now.

Because I have full faith in the power of the universe to deliver to me what I need when I need it.

With an open heart,

We show the universe we're ready.

That we're moving without fear.

That we believe we are worthy.

Dear friends meditating with me today,

I thank you.

And I encourage you to dream big,

To love big,

And to remember the universe has a plan.

And with a little trust in clearing out of boundaries that might block us,

We can receive all the abundance we ever dreamed of by just turning inward and finding that joy,

That bliss,

That love right as we are here and now.
