Welcome to this yoga nidra that will guide you to experience the bliss of this present moment.
Take your time to settle into a comfortable position where you can remain in stillness throughout this practice.
Making sure that the body is supported in such a way that you can invite a sense of surrender.
Surrendering the activity of the eyes as you allow your eyelids to gently close.
And surrendering any doing of your muscular system as you release into a sense of undoing.
Allowing any tension,
Any holding within the muscles of your body to dissolve.
Every exhale helps you to sink the body into softening.
Allow every exhalation help you to ground the body down a little more.
Making the body heavier with every exhale.
Giving yourself the space to arrive into this state of undoing.
Arriving into a state where you simply receive what's here.
Open to any signals from within the body.
Open to see within and feel within.
Settling in as you invite a sense of relaxation flowing into the body.
Bringing awareness to the flow of breath.
Noticing inhalations followed by exhalations.
And feel how focusing on the softness of your breath brings you into the present moment.
Guides you to experience what's happening right now within your body.
Guides you to experience the gentle waves of energy flowing through your body.
Awareness resting gently on the present experience of your breath.
We'll now flow that beautiful present moment awareness through the body.
Starting with the right thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And little finger.
The palm of the hand.
The back of the hand.
Wrist.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Forearm.
Shoulder.
Armpit.
Right waist.
Hip.
Upper leg.
Knee.
Lower leg.
Ankle.
Heel.
Sole of the foot.
Top of the foot.
All five toes of the right foot.
Whole right side of the body.
Now feel the left thumb.
Index finger.
Middle finger.
Ring finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the left hand.
Back of the hand.
Wrist.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Forearm.
Left shoulder.
Armpit.
Waist.
Left hip.
Upper leg.
Knee.
Lower leg.
Ankle.
Heel.
Sole of the left foot.
Top of the foot.
All toes of the left foot.
Whole left side of the body.
Now feel into the heart space.
Right arm all the way towards the fingertips.
And the left arm all the way into fingertips.
Back into the heart.
The navel.
The entire right leg.
And the entire left leg.
The right arm and the left leg.
Left arm,
Right leg.
Both arms and both legs at the same time.
Feeling the lips.
The teeth inside the mouth.
The tongue.
Inside of the right cheek.
Inside of the left cheek.
Tip of the nose.
Right eye.
Left eye.
Right temple.
Left temple.
Whole forehead.
Crown of the head.
The whole body at once.
Bring the experience of the whole body into your awareness.
Present moment awareness of what the body is like right now.
Body filled with sensation as you connect to what your ever-changing body is like right now.
Release any static image of how it should look like or feel like.
Connect to its truth in this moment.
Get really curious.
Feeling its energy flow through every cell.
Feeling the body change.
Feel how it's different in every moment again.
Appreciating everything that happens within the body without the need of your control.
It's constantly changing.
The production of the appropriate hormones by your glands.
Your immune system constantly guarding you from infections.
The digestion of foods.
Just a few examples.
Your body is never the same in any moment.
So be open to truly experience it moment to moment as it is.
Not assuming anything.
Assuming anything.
Not wishing it to be any different than it is.
And while aware of the body in its entirety,
Bring up a deep gratitude for your body as it is right now.
As it serves you in this very moment.
What a blessing to have this body.
Now lend your awareness back to the breath again.
That effortlessly flowing breath of yours.
Now see or feel how every time you breathe in,
Fresh new white energy enters into the body from the nose.
Filling the body.
And as you exhale,
Gray old energy releases out of the body from the nose.
So visualize that white new energy entering the body every inhale.
Every exhale,
You release that gray old energy.
Feeling that balance of taking in what's yours to take in.
Fresh new vital energy.
And releasing the energy that's ready to let go of.
Breathing in fresh new white energy.
Releasing the old gray energy.
And notice that also with every exhale,
Not only do you release that energy that's no longer serving you,
The body also sinks down more into this very moment.
Every exhale helps you to ground down into the present moment a little further.
A release and an entering into the now.
Now keep breathing in the new and releasing out the old.
Keep sinking down further into this moment.
Opening up to what's here.
Feel the entirety of the body again.
Softened completely into the magic of this moment.
Receive the full body relaxation accompanied by that.
Relaxation in every layer of your being.
Your body sinking down into the deep relaxation in this moment.
Start to bring into the body what it feels like to be open to what's here.
To be free.
To sense life with your full capacity.
What does it feel like to live in current time?
Bringing this up as a fully embodied experience,
Not just a mental construct.
And with equanimity,
Now bring up the feeling what it's like to be closed off from the present moment.
To be trapped by events in the past or worries about what is to come.
To be absorbed in something that takes you out of the present moment.
What does that feel like?
To be unable to fully sense what's here right now.
To be detached from the now.
Once again,
Feeling this in the whole body.
And now we'll bring into experience both the feeling of living in the moment and the feeling of living detached from the present simultaneously.
Experience both at the same time without thinking about it.
Simply bringing both into your current experience.
Gently release that expiration as you soften the body down even further into relaxation.
And notice the energy flowing through your body.
Our internal energy can be obstructed by dwelling in the past or worrying about the future.
Which is why it is so vital to bring our energy into current time.
So bring awareness fully into the middle of the head.
And while resting awareness in this potent energy center,
Start to feel what the energy is like in this space.
And start to now consciously transform this energy to what you are like in this very moment.
Bringing this energy into its current form.
Releasing anything that doesn't serve you anymore.
Letting this part of your energy system upgrade.
Allowing it to come into current time.
Energy in the middle of the head upgrading into the present moment.
Now descending awareness lower into the heart center.
As we rest our full awareness here.
And start again by tuning in.
What's the energy like?
Is there anything lingering that doesn't serve us anymore?
And let's start to free this space up.
Let's start to fill it once again with your current time energy.
Filling it with the energy that serves you right now.
Updating it into the present moment.
Now descending awareness even further into the lower belly.
Tuning in what's here.
And now start to update this center as well.
Bringing the energy into current time.
Updating the energy to what serves you right now.
Now start to feel all three centers simultaneously.
Middle of the head,
The heart center and the lower belly.
Feeling the current time energy here.
And let's start to spread that energy within these centers.
Throughout the whole body now.
Filling the whole body with this present moment energy.
Updating your whole system to receive the bliss of the present moment.
Allow your whole being to drift into the depths of that release.
Coming into current time within all energy centers within the body.
Drifting into the present moment.
The space devoid of musts or twos.
There's no need to fix anything.
There's a simple enjoyment of what's here.
A strong connection to the natural flow of life.
Sacred simplicity of simply being.
A gratitude that moves beyond the superficial.
A knowing that fully absorbed in the now we can transform time.
Even how we are shaped by our pasts is established in the now.
So release the need to worry about what's to come.
Release regrets about what has passed.
Receive the magic of what's here right now.
Right now.
Drifting into that magic in this moment.
Now start to feel the body touching the ground beneath you again.
Feeling the weight of the body and feeling the complete form of the body.
As you very slowly start to bring some gentle movements back in fingers and toes.
Keeping your eyes closed.
Keeping yourself still in the embrace of this deep state of relaxation.
Allowing yourself to really bathe in the energy you created.
Start to deepen your breath as you slowly blink your eyes back open again.
Coming back into a wakeful state of being.
While still feeling anchored into this moment.
And see if you can take this sense of present time living with you in the rest of your day.
Preparing yourself to move out of this practice again.
