So get into a comfortable position sitting or lying and take your time to get as comfy as possible and then when you're ready you can close your eyes and to start we're going to take three big deep long slow tummy breaths so the next time you breathe in take your breath deep into your belly and then breathe out slow and long and let's do that twice more breathing in deep breathing out slow and long and one more time breathing out slow and long now we're going to use our imagination and I would love you to imagine that it's the start of a new day and the sun is rising and you find yourself in the middle of nature and as the sun rises and the light starts to kiss everything around it you see the most beautiful flower in front of you and this flower is waking up like everything else as the sun starts to kiss the stalk and the petals of this beautiful flower and it starts to open and you marvel at the beauty of this flower you've never seen anything like it the colors the shapes of the petals how it moves in the breeze and what we're going to do I invite you to take your hands to the center of your chest and as you do that you can imagine breathing this beautiful flower that's waking up that's opening itself up to the world imagine breathing it into the center of your chest you're taking it inside of you and as you do that the flower opens even more and you can see even more detail the center of the flower the different petals the colors the shapes it feels really nice really lovely to have this flower sitting inside of you and as you breathe and as you notice it it opens even more and you suddenly realize that this flower represents you and this flower is unique just like you and you realize that this flower helps you to be brave to be yourself and to open up to the world and show who you are just like the petals are opening to the sun of a new day so as you breathe and you notice this flower opening you do feel brave and you do feel stronger and it's like you feel more open in a way and you can feel this flower filling up all of you and expanding through your whole body awakening everything up opening everything up and it's like you feel bigger physically stronger and braver and quite excited actually there's one other cool thing that this flower does as well it knows when to close its petals when it doesn't feel safe and it doesn't want to show itself so perhaps you sometimes find yourself in those situations and you might get hurt well you know that the flower is there to help you know when to not show yourself so much and keep some of yourself back and keep yourself safe so you can imagine the petals closing slightly to protect itself protect that beautiful center of the flower you can imagine that happening now and you know that your flower can do that if you need it to but right now we're going to enjoy this beautiful unique flower and you look once again in front of you and the sun is higher now the day really has started and you tune in to the nature sounds around you the plants waking up the breeze birds or animals noises of a new day and you feel that sun kissing your skin and you feel really alive and really ready to step out into the world and enjoy this new day and you notice once again that beautiful open flower curious to see what happens today in the center of your chest and you know that you can come back and revisit this place whenever you need and that helps you feel brave as well so it's time to leave this scene now so let everything in your imagination float away and then you can gently start coming out of this meditation moving your fingers moving your toes gently stretching your body and then when you feel ready you can open your eyes and come back I hope you have a beautiful day
