Hello and thank you for joining me for this easy meditation.

All you need to do is follow my voice and if you find you're thinking of something else or you get distracted by a noise or a feeling then that's okay.

When you notice just gently and easily coming back to listening to my voice.

Now getting yourself nice and comfortable in your seat or where you're lying down and then closing down your eyes and listening now to any sounds that you can hear.

The music,

Noise in your room or outside of your room,

Maybe your own breathing and just listening to one of those sounds for a little while.

And then what can you see behind your closed eyes?

Is it darkness,

Some lighter areas,

Maybe some shapes or patterns.

Just noticing all the different things that are there behind your eyelids.

Then what can you feel on your body?

Is there the pressure of your chair or your bed holding you up?

Your clothes or blankets against your skin?

Maybe there's a little breeze blowing against your skin and just noticing one of those for a little while.

Then taking a nice big breath in through your nose letting it out through your mouth with a big sigh.

And hopefully now you're feeling really comfortable but if you need to move a bit go ahead and do that at any time.

And remember if you notice that you're thinking of something else or listening to another sound that's okay.

Just gently coming back to my voice.

Now I'd like you to join me on a journey.

Imagine you were sitting on a really big,

Really comfy armchair.

So big and squishy your feet can barely reach the edge if you feel like it curling up and feeling completely enclosed in your big squishy chair.

Your chair is so squishy and fluffy it's like being on a cloud.

And looking up you see a big hot air balloon and it's attached to your big chair.

And now looking over the arm you see that your squishy chair is lifting off the ground slowly floating up through the ceiling as if the ceiling isn't even there.

And as you slowly float up looking down you can see the room you are in.

And as you keep floating upwards you can see your whole building and then seeing your whole street with all the houses and all the gardens,

The people and the animals.

And you are feeling completely safe in your big squishy chair.

Now seeing your whole suburb streets and the trees and all the people moving around playing in the parks,

Going to the shops and getting higher and higher until you can see the whole of your city.

The roads,

The bridges,

Maybe the planes taking off at the airport.

And then even higher you can see the whole of your country.

Then the whole of the earth and all of the people are there and all of the animals.

And if you like taking a trip around the world in your squishy chair what an amazing view.

Looking down on all of the countries,

On the oceans,

The forests and the mountains,

The whole world spinning slowly in front of you.

And if you like reaching out your arms and giving the world a great big hug.

Now it's time to travel back,

Slowly drifting down towards the earth,

Towards your country,

Then your city,

Then your suburb,

Your street,

Your building and then back into your room still safely sitting in your squishy chair.

And you can stay sitting in your chair with your eyes closed and just noticing your breath again,

Taking a nice easy breath in and out.

Still keeping your eyes closed,

Wiggling your fingers and toes then stretching your arms and your legs and shifting and moving about.

And when you feel like it opening your eyes and coming back to your room.

Did this one for quiet time and both my kids fell asleep! Not an easy feat. Definitely enjoyed it and we will be listening again
