Meditation Timer OnlineAlex is a registered social worker, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, consultant, and yoga teacher with over a decade of experience as a trauma-focused therapist. She specializes in supporting therapists, high achievers, helping professionals, creatives, and athletes navigating anxiety, complex trauma (CPTSD), burnout, perfectionism, relationship challenges, grief, major life transitions, and physical injury. Informed by Somatic Experiencing, trauma-informed stabilization treatment (parts work), yoga, and, mindfulness based cognitive therapies Alex’s approach is relational, trauma-focused, and liberatory. She honors the body’s responses to struggle, emotional pain, and injustice, supporting clients not in striving for a “perfectly regulated” state, but in preparing their nervous systems for life’s ongoing challenges by slowing down, expanding into growth edges, reconnecting with fragmented or shadowed parts of the self, and taking action aligned with personal and collective healing. This work creates space for discernment, conscious choice, and resilience, and is often described by clients as grounding, nourishing, and empowering—supporting them to live and lead with greater steadiness, authenticity, and relational interdependence.
