Hi dear one,
My name is Alexandra Nash and I'm an Unplugged Meditation teacher.
Today we're going to take a moment to ground ourself.
So let's begin by sitting down in a comfortable position,
Straight spine and try to relax your arms,
Perhaps you can hold them on your lap.
Take a deep breath in and just land in this moment.
As you keep breathing try to relax every body part.
Start by feeling your sit bones ground into the surface that you're on.
Maybe your legs are falling to the side,
Maybe your hands are resting on your knees and your shoulders are dropped down and your spine is straight and up tall.
Your head is facing the sky,
Your shoulders away from your ears,
Your forehead is relaxed.
By truly grounding ourselves in the place or in a moment we learn to accept that this is where we are and this is where we're meant to be.
We breathe in new possibilities and we exhale things that no longer serve us.
As we're doing that we are connected to the earth and to ourselves.
It's okay to let things go and to call in future opportunities but yet be happy and grateful and okay with being right here.
Breathe in possibilities and let go of things you no longer want to carry and start to feel heavy towards the surface that you're sitting or laying on.
We are who we are and where we are right at this moment is here and that's okay.
Every day the earth is carrying us just as just as our heart is.
Take a deep breath in all the way from your sit bone that's touching the ground.
Let the breath ripple through your entire body,
Up your spine,
Through the top of your head and up to the sky.
You are held by the ground and uplifted by the sky.
You are all that you are right now and that is more than okay.
When you're ready you can start opening your eyes and I truly hope you have a beautiful day and that you feel grounded and held throughout whatever is meeting you today.
