Hello everyone.
Today we're going to be exploring the depths of love,
What makes us feel loved,
And we'll link it back to what makes us feel seen and heard.
This guided meditation will take you on a journey to uncover the essence of what makes you feel connected,
Safe,
Supported,
And cared for.
Find a comfortable and quiet space,
Either sitting,
Lying down,
Or if it feels more comfortable,
Feel free to take this meditation on a walk with you.
Take deep breaths in and deep breaths out,
Calibrating your body and grounding down to this present moment.
Let's start by bringing your attention to your breath.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and each exhale.
Breathe in slowly through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Now turn your focus inward.
Begin to contemplate the concept of love.
What does it mean to you?
How do you define it in your life?
As you breathe into this,
Take intentional moments to reflect.
Over the years,
I've learned that love for me begins with self-love.
So let's start by exploring what it feels like to love ourselves deeply.
Visualize a warm golden light surrounding your heart,
Filling you with love and compassion.
With each breath,
Let this light expand,
Radiating outward,
Covering your entire being.
As you bask in this self-love,
Consider the actions and gestures that make you feel loved by others.
Is it a warm hug?
A kind word?
Is it active listening?
Is it non-judgment?
Perhaps it's simply being heard and understood.
Think of a time when you felt truly loved and cherished by someone in your life.
Bring that feeling,
Along with your glowing self-love,
To the forefront of your mind.
Love can manifest in countless ways,
As we all know,
Both big and small.
It can be found in gentle touches by those we love,
A shared smile,
Or a heartfelt,
Considerate gesture.
We must remember that love is not limited by words.
It is an action,
And it can be deeply conveyed through intention,
Mindfulness,
And presence.
Now let's shift our focus to the people in our lives who bring us deep love and joy on a daily basis.
Visualize their faces,
Feel their presence,
And notice the love they radiate towards you,
Allowing it to wash over you and remind you of how deeply cared for you are.
Let this be an invitation to lean into warmth and gratitude in remembering how worthy you are of being loved by others.
Love is about connection,
And we are all interconnected in this vast web of existence.
Take a moment to imagine a world where everyone shares love and compassion,
Where love transcends boundaries and unites us all,
As we start to bring this practice to a close.
Remember that love is not just an external force,
Friends.
It resides in us all.
We have the power to cultivate love in our lives and share it with others,
Even if no one taught us how.
Take a deep breath and let this realization settle into your heart with ease.
We can rewrite our love stories.
