I'm an author and self-care facilitator who is passionate about bringing people closer to themselves by way of writing practice.
Thank you so much for deciding to join me today for a home for love,
A meditation.
Before we get started,
I just want to remind you that no matter what you've walked through,
You deserve to come home to yourself.
You belong to yourself.
And even with our traumas and triggers and pain points,
We are still worthy of healing.
We are still capable of healing.
We are still deserving,
Period.
So I'd like to invite you to get into a comfortable seat,
To close your eyes if you want,
Or to just have me playing in the background.
Soften your jaw,
Drop those shoulders.
Maybe you want to lay down and listen to this,
Or maybe you want to grab your journal and write along with me.
Whatever you choose,
I want you to feel comfortable and to do what is right and good for you in this moment.
Let's take a deep breath in together before we start.
In through the nose for three.
And out through the mouth for four.
Give yourself permission here to show up as your best or flawed self.
You are welcomed here,
No matter what you're dealing with.
Let's begin.
I am deserving of coming home to myself,
No matter what I've been through.
No matter how lost I am or may feel,
I belong to myself and I belong in my body.
Everything that has hurt me has not broken me down because I am resilient.
I am a warrior in this world.
Hearing my story makes me even stronger than I think I am.
I am deeply rooted and committed to cultivating abundance in my life.
Nothing can stop me,
Not even what may feel threatening to my healing process.
I belong to myself and I belong in my body.
Leaning into that truth is how I call my power back.
Leaning into that truth is how I stand tall in grace.
It is how I grow.
It is how I bloom.
I am blessed to have breath in this body.
I embody perseverance.
I am enough even on my worst days.
My body is a home for love and I will always let myself in.
I am welcomed.
I am deserving of coming home to myself,
No matter what I've been through or how lost I may feel.
I am my own.
I'd like you to sit with those words for a minute.
Feel your soul in your body.
Affirm that you are worthy.
Trust that you are growing through it.
Do not give up on yourself.
The world is lucky to have you,
Even through your pain,
Even through the darkness,
Even after the hardship.
You are worthy.
You belong to yourself and in your body.
Pay attention.
Lean in.
