Buddha’s 2nd Noble truth says "The root of all suffering is attachment." Master non-attachment and you find inner peace. To achieve this we will flow through a series of affirmations to invoke the last Yama in Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga, Aparigraha, which is the practise of non-attachment through acceptance and surrender. Use this guided affirmation meditation to move you through.

I believe these affirmations are true for me in this moment.

I let go of all expectations.

I am free to live the life I've dreamed.

I let go of the need to control others.

I allow others to make their own way.

Possessions do not feed my spirit.

I give things away freely.

I say goodbye to the things in my life that are blocking my spiritual growth.

I release myself of past relationships with love.

I make way for new love to enter my life.

I live my life without restraints.

Possessions and obligations do not have a hold on me.

I choose freedom and release all things that block an open pathway.

I live a boundless,

Forward-moving life.

I am grateful for the lessons my past has taught me.

I clear all distractions.

I am focused.

I embrace a less is more mentality.

I let go of my regrets.

I am ready to move forward with my life.

I am ready to make room in my life for someone and something new.

I am not scared of letting the past go.

I am ready to start a new chapter in my life.

I will take deep breaths and let go of any stress and worry I have.

I am grateful for everything I have in my life right now.

The past has no power or control over me.

The things I have been through will not hold me back.

I feel good about the future.

The past is behind me and I have to live in the present moment.

I will not hold on to regrets or things that I can no longer control.

I release all fears of not being perfect.

I am good enough.

I am perfect in my own way.

I am worry free.

I am free to live the life I've dreamed.
