This Somatic Breathwork Daily Practice is a self-inquiry practice designed to help you become aligned and centered. It will help you release stress and tension from the body. Clearing away anything that no longer serves so you can embody your best self.

Hello everyone,

And thank you for joining me in today's Somatic Breathwork Daily Practice.

You can do this practice either sitting or lying down,

Whichever is most comfortable for you.

If you are in a car right now,

Then please do not participate in this daily practice.

But you are more than welcome to follow along.

Just find a comfortable position,

And begin to become present with your body.

Present with your breath.

Let's go ahead and take in a few deep breaths together.

Deep breath in.

Let it all go.

Take another deep breath in,

And let this one out with a sigh.

Now take your deepest breath in of the day,

And let it all the way out.

Letting go of any stress from the day,

Any tensions in your body.

Releasing anything that you have carried with you to this practice.

Begin to breathe all the way deep into your belly,

Feeling it expand 360 degrees.

Feeling it in your side,

In your spine.

And deep down into your belly.

Any daily practice should be a self-inquiry practice.

It should be designed to figure out where you are at,

And how you want to show up in the world.

This practice is meant to be a part of your daily routine,

As a tool to help you maintain that internal alignment.

We become what we repeatedly do.

Now we are going to breathe in and out of the mouth,

Deep into the belly,

For the first part of this breathwork exercise.

That is going to help us to clear anything that we are holding onto,

Any stress,

Any tension,

Any pressure that's in the system.

Anything that no longer serves us,

Or doesn't belong.

Because when we clear,

We become clear.

And in the second half,

We are going to connect more with our breath,

And slowing it down,

By breathing in through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

Connecting with how we want to show up for the day.

And creating an elevated emotion with inside of ourselves.

An elevated emotion so strong,

It radiates through our entire being,

So others can feel it as we move throughout the day.

So let's go ahead and begin by taking a deep breath in and out of our mouths,

All the way into our belly.

Not removing any pauses,

So you are always either breathing in or breathing out.

And what do you want to clear out?

Clear out the pressure,

The stress,

Anything you have accumulated that you want to clear out.

Use the breath and clear it out of your body.

Feel free to sigh on the exhale.

It helps move energy.

Pull it all the way down into your belly.

Feel it in your back,

In your sides.

Move your body if you need to.

Use your breath and clear it out.

That's it.

Keep breathing deep into the belly.

What are you carrying that didn't belong to you in the first place?

Use your breath and clear it out of your body.

Use the breath.

Find the pattern that's right for you.

You don't always have to carry it on your shoulders.

You don't always have to be the strong one.

It's okay to let that weight go.

Use your breath and clear it out.

Keep going.

Take 10 more breaths.

Three more.

Now take a deep breath in and hold it at the top and connect with how you want to show up for the day.

What do you want to feel?

What do you want to embody?

See it clearly.

And whenever you're ready,

You can let it go.

Switching to in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Deep breaths in through the nose.

Slow out through the mouth.

And how do you want to feel?

What do you want others to feel from you?

Just relax into yourself.

Breathing your soul back into your body.

Breathing in all the parts of yourself that may have become disconnected.

Breathing in what you want to embody.

That's it.

10 more breaths.

Illa.

Three more.

Last one.

Now take a deep breath all the way into your belly.

Let it all the way out,

Becoming completely empty,

And hold it there.

And hold it as long as you can.

And when you need to take that first breath in,

Breathe in the feeling of gratitude.

Gratitude is the highest vibration.

What are you thankful for?

Breathe it in,

Allowing yourself to become still.

No effort in the breath.

Just letting your body breathe however it wants to.

And start to tune into the energy in your body.

What are you feeling?

What physical sensations are arising for you?

Now look one step deeper in what emotions,

What feelings are behind those physical sensations?

Going even one step deeper into our awareness,

And what is coming up into your imagination that is behind those emotions,

That is behind those feelings and sensations in your body.

Now start to tune into the energy of your spine,

The straight line energy going up and down your spine.

And ride that awareness down your spine through each individual vertebrae,

A straight line of energy all the way down to your tailbone,

All the way down into the ground.

A straight line of energy all the way down into the earth,

Through all its various layers,

Making you feel so rooted,

So connected,

So grounded with the earth.

This is your anchor point.

Now take a deep breath in,

Riding that energy back up your spine through each vertebrae to the top of your head,

The tip of your antenna,

And carry that straight line of energy all the way up into the sky,

Into the heavens,

Making you feel so deeply connected to something greater than yourself.

God,

Source,

Spirit,

Universe,

Whatever you believe in.

Go ahead and take a nice deep breath in,

Riding that straight line of energy from the earth and from the heavens all the way back into yourself,

All the way back into your heart.

Feeling yourself as the center point between heaven and earth.

You are the center point between heaven and earth.

You are here to embody heaven on earth.

And from this place,

You can move into the world.

You can connect and you can relate to others.

And you can always come back to this alignment within yourself,

Rooted in the heavens,

Rooted in the earth.

No one can push you from this place.

You can always come back to it.

Now let's take a deep breath in,

Rooting ourselves into the here and now.

Let's take another deep breath,

Rooting ourselves into our body.

And another deep breath,

Rooting ourselves into this time and space.

Now go ahead and sit with yourself for a moment and tap back into those sensations you felt in your body.

Tap back into those emotions that were behind them.

And tap back into the imagination behind those emotions and feelings,

Continuing to bring more and more awareness into yourself and more awareness into the language of your body.

I hope you enjoyed this somatic breath work daily practice.

You may come back to it at any time that you need to find your center and your alignment.

It was an honor holding space for you and I hope to do so again.
