Welcome to this guided grounding meditation where we will drop into a space of relaxation and a space where we can connect in with ourselves and with the earth.
Close the eyes and make sure you're in a comfortable position whether it's seated or lying down.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and open the mouth and let it go.
Good,
Again,
Take a deep breath in through the nose and open the mouth and let it go.
One more time,
We'll take a deep breath in through the nose and let it go.
Let go of any stress or tension you're holding onto the shoulders,
Relax.
Bring your attention again to the breath and as you breathe in,
Let the belly expand,
Fill the lungs,
Fully breathing all the way up to the collar bones.
And as you exhale,
Let the air leave your lungs from top to bottom,
Deflating the chest first and then the belly.
And then breathing in,
Letting the belly expand,
Filling the lungs all the way up to the collar bones and breathing out.
Chest deflates and the belly deflates.
Do this a couple more times on your own.
Remain deeply relaxed and allow attention to follow along to each body part as it is and just being present to whatever sensations arise.
All 10 toes,
Both ankles,
Both knees,
Pelvis,
Belly,
Chest,
Both arms,
Both knees,
Both arms,
Neck,
Face,
Back of the head,
Shoulder blades,
Back,
Back of the legs,
Calf,
Back of the head.
And now imagine a golden light streaming down from the cosmos,
Coming all the way down through the top of your head,
Filling up the entire space of your head,
Flowing down through the neck,
Spilling over the chest and shoulders,
Down through the arms,
The hands and out through the fingers.
Feel this golden light streaming down over the chest,
Filling the chest cavity,
Through the stomach,
Down through the pelvis and the hips,
Moving down through both legs and the knees,
The feet,
And now feel as this golden light makes its way all the way down into the earth,
Reaching all the way down to the center of the earth.
Now feel this continuous flow of golden light coming down through the head,
Filling up the entire body and down through the feet.
Feel this golden light clearing out anything in your body that's no longer serving you,
Feel any stress or tension,
And just throw it into this golden light.
Breathe in and receive this light and exhale,
Let go of anything that you'd like to throw into this light.
Again,
We'll bring our attention to the breath and as you breathe in,
Imagine that breath going through the center of the heart.
And as you breathe out,
It's flowing out of the center of the heart.
Continue this breath almost as if we're breathing in and out through the heart.
Just feel this energy moving in,
Moving out.
Now as you receive the following intentions,
Allow every cell in your being to remain open,
Relaxed and receptive,
And repeat these intentions silently or out loud to yourself.
I recognize that my true essence can never be harmed or diminished.
I am at peace in the midst of all life's ups and downs.
I am filled full with health,
Happiness and abundance.
Just rest here for a moment and feel the energy of these intentions settling into your body.
Now gently bring the attention back to the breath.
Just become aware of the rising and falling of the abdomen,
The chest.
Once again,
Bring your awareness back to your physical experience.
Feel the state of the body,
Quietness of the mind,
And the spaciousness of your being.
Feel how you are connected with the earth and with your own body.
Appreciate yourself for nourishing yourself and your life with this practice.
With your next exhalation,
The eyes can gently open.
