Hello,
My name is Abby and today I'm going to guide you through a meditation that will help you release unwanted negative feelings and help release your inner light.
So when you are ready,
Find a comfortable seat or lie on your back and bring your gaze softly down or close your eyes if you are comfortable.
We're going to start with some Ujjayi breaths to cleanse and purify the body and the mind.
So finding some constraint in the back of the throat,
Start to inhale and exhale,
Creating ocean-like sounds.
Focus on your breath,
How it feels flowing into your tummy and coming out of your nostrils,
Seeing your lungs completely.
At the top of your next inhale,
Hold the breath in.
Notice what it feels like to be completely full of air and let it go.
At the end of your next exhale,
Hold the breath,
Noticing what it feels like to be completely empty,
No air,
And let the air flow back in.
Continue with these breaths,
In,
Hold,
Exhale,
Hold.
Take five more Ujjayi breaths.
Cleansing and purifying your entire body and clearing your mind of all thoughts and mind chatter.
When you complete your last breath,
Let the air flow naturally into your body.
You are a vessel by which air just naturally flows in and out.
You are in control of how much air is let in and out,
But it is happening constantly,
Whether consciously or unconsciously.
Feel the ease in your lungs and the expansion that you have created,
Letting in ample amounts of air.
No more need for control,
Just allowing the air to be.
And just notice your breath.
Notice what it feels like to breathe in and out.
Now repeat this affirmation either out loud or in your head.
I am light.
I am light.
I am light.
Repeat this,
Bringing your focus to your mind's eye,
Between your eyebrows.
Feeling the light within you begin to shine.
I am light.
Notice the affirmation and sit with yourself,
Continuing to breathe but with no control.
Notice your energy,
How you feel.
And now I'm going to introduce a new affirmation.
I won't fight.
I won't fight.
I won't fight.
Repeat this but only three times,
Accepting reality as it is and giving up this idea of control,
Giving yourself up fully to who you are and letting yourself be led by what you know you are to do.
Take five breaths here,
Settling into this present moment,
Not fighting whatever feelings come up,
Whatever tensions arise.
Cease to fight the moment.
You are here.
Repeat this affirmation once after me.
I am releasing that which no longer serves me.
Now allow yourself to release.
I am releasing that which no longer serves me.
Take a nice deep inhale.
And exhale out the mouth.
And now repeat the words,
I am love.
I am love.
I am love.
Letting go of the feelings stored up in your body and allowing yourself to live in this present moment in the trueness,
In the oneness of who you are.
You are light.
You are love.
Notice how you feel a little lighter and a little brighter.
Bring a smile to your face.
Feel the energy radiating in your body.
You know what is best for you.
I encourage you to do that and don't suppress the guide living inside of you.
Take one more inhale.
Hold and let it all go.

The and light in me sees and honors the love and light in you.
