Hi friends,

My name is Abbey and today I just want to speak my heart to you.

You can listen to this any way you like.

If you're feeling down or disheartened,

Like you just need some self-assurance,

Some affirmation or comfort to keep going,

I am here for you.

I want you to know that you are doing great.

You're doing the best you know how.

And that's all you can really ask of yourself.

Because every day we are presented with new moments.

Even if they are similar to the old moments we've experienced,

They're layered on top of our old experience so they bring us something new.

And so every moment we have to be constantly learning how to approach life,

How to deal with life.

And sometimes it can become very difficult and very challenging.

And so I highly encourage you to be patient with yourself,

To give yourself compassion,

To hold yourself in a space where it's okay to struggle sometimes,

It's okay to feel challenged and it's okay to be in uncertainty or the unknown.

I truly believe that you are exactly where you need to be in this moment.

Even if it doesn't feel good,

Even if it doesn't feel right,

Everything is playing out exactly as it should.

Everything that you've ever done has led up to this moment.

So how could it not be where you're supposed to be?

I also think it's really easy for us to forget how many challenges we've overcome in the past.

If you've made it to the end of the day,

You are successful.

If you are still living and breathing,

You have made it through.

You are going to get through this.

You are going to overcome it.

It's inevitable.

You've done it with every single past challenge you've ever encountered.

And if you don't,

If you don't overcome it,

If you don't succeed it,

Then you won't be here anymore.

When has anything ever overcome you so much that you just stopped?

That you never got back on your feet?

That you never continued on?

Sometimes it takes a lot longer,

You know,

Weeks,

Months,

Years to overcome a certain struggle or a certain situation.

But eventually your strength pulls you up and out of wherever you're in.

You never stay in that place.

Nothing is ever permanent.

And remember that when you feel really good at times.

When you feel overjoyed,

Happy,

Carefree,

Peace.

Those things don't last either.

Our world is a balance.

It is polarity and duality.

You will experience hard times and you will experience those good times.

And neither of them will last.

You will go in and out of them for the rest of your life.

I really encourage you to get intensely present at whatever you're experiencing.

You could be feeling depressed,

Anxious,

Worrisome,

Frustrated,

Angry,

Impatient,

Bored.

Whatever your negative feeling is,

What does it feel like when you just accept it?

Can you stop fighting it?

Can you look at it dead in the face and say,

I don't really care if you're here or not.

This is my experience.

I love you and I accept you.

If you can allow your negative experiences to flow in and through you,

They will flow out a lot more naturally and a lot more quickly.

And it adds a richness,

A fullness to your life.

It adds dynamics to the good when you can really be present in your negative feelings.

It's almost a romantic way of living.

At least that's how it feels for me.

I feel like I'm truly living life.

You are having a human experience.

Humans experience challenges.

They experience all the negative and that is what is happening to you and there's nothing wrong with that.

There's nowhere else you should be.

There's nothing else you should be doing.

There's nothing else you should be feeling.

There is truly no wrong way to feel.

How can there be any wrong way to feel?

It's what you're feeling.

Don't deny yourself.

Don't suppress it.

Don't set it aside or push it down.

The more you hide from it,

The longer it will persist throughout your entire being.

So give yourself the space to feel.

You know my favorite way to feel is usually turning on a record,

Laying on the floor or on my bed and just letting things out,

Letting it go,

Just being with myself.

The only way your feelings will truly come out is if you give them the space to.

You can think,

Oh I'm present,

But if you are constantly going throughout your day,

Go go go go go and you never give yourself any silence,

Any space to really breathe and let sink in every little moment that has happened to you that day,

That's how things get pushed away.

They get pressed in.

They get boxed up.

So the process of sitting down with yourself and really unboxing all those feelings is how you start to let things go and how you start to move on.

How can you ever move on from the past if you don't deal with it?

And the more you can learn to deal with it truly in this moment,

Then the present will actually open up to you and have things to give to you.

The present is always open to you.

It is welcoming.

It wants to hold you.

The present is where you are.

But you have to allow for it to happen.

Life is a learning process.

You learn as you go.

You know,

You can look back and say,

Oh if I only knew better,

But you didn't.

And that's the whole point is that you didn't know any better.

And that's how it is right now.

You don't know any better.

You don't know what you don't know.

So stay present with what you do know and be proud that you've made it this far.

That you have figured out a way to get yourself here.

Wherever that is.

You figured out a way to get here.

You figured out a way to keep yourself alive.

And that is a success.

You're doing great.

You are good enough.

Your value doesn't rest in the amount of things you do or the amount of things that you have,

What you've accomplished,

The awards you've received.

None of that is actually attached to you.

Who you are at the core of your being has always been valuable and has always been enough,

Regardless of what you've ever done.

You were born and the world adored you.

So rest assured that there's nothing that needs to be done.

There's nothing that needs to be undone.

The true part of yourself has never been affected by anything.

You are whole.

You are healed.

And you are exactly who you need to be.

And your life is a process of slowly becoming that person that you already are.

Every moment,

Every experience,

Every day that you live is another chance to learn more about yourself and to open up to more of who you are.

Because you are beautiful.

You are worth learning about.

You don't need anybody or anything to tell you that you are enough,

That you are worthy.

I hope that these words sparked something in you,

Gave you some sort of reassurance or comfort.

My heart goes out to you.

I definitely empathize with feelings of being stuck or stagnant,

Not knowing where to go or how to continue.

I completely understand and I experience it quite often.

But I do my best to encourage myself and to keep going.

So remember these words and use them to encourage yourself later.

I love you so much.

I know you are going to be okay.

I HIGHLY recommend this talk to anyone who isn't feeling emotionally ok. It really helps you to come to terms to the present moment, to embrace yourself unconditionally and to see life and possibilities from a different perspective. Feeling grateful!
