So much of the new year noise comes from outside — expectations, comparisons, and all the things you think you should be doing by now. In this short morning reset, we’ll gently release some of that mental clutter and create a little more inner space. No goals. No to-do list. Just a calmer place to start your day. Come back tomorrow for Day 3: One Tiny Habit.

Hi and welcome back.

I'm really glad you're here today.

Before we begin,

Take a quiet moment to notice how you feel right now.

Not compared to anyone else.

Not compared to where you think you should be.

Just noticing.

Take a slow breath in through your nose and a long steady breath out through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale and exhale.

The start of a new year often comes with a lot of noise.

Voices from outside,

Voices from social media,

Voices in your own head,

Telling you what you should be doing by now,

What you should have figured out,

Who you should be becoming this year.

Today we're not adding anything to that.

We're gently letting some of it go.

As you breathe imagine all that noise turning down just a little.

Not disappearing,

Just moving further into the background.

You don't need to push it away.

You don't need to argue with it.

Just let it loosen its grip.

With each exhale see if you can let your shoulders drop a bit.

Unclench your jaw.

Soften your belly.

Let your body know it's safe to slow down.

There is no rush here.

Nothing is chasing you.

Nothing needs to be decided today.

Take another slow breath in and if it feels good let the breath out with a quiet sigh.

Notice what happens in your body when you stop listening to expectations,

Even briefly.

That space you're creating right now matters.

It's not empty,

It's supportive.

As we come toward the end let this thought settle gently inside you.

I don't need all the answers right now and if you'd like come back tomorrow for day three where we'll explore one tiny habit that feels kind and doable,

Not overwhelming.

For now carry this quiet with you into your day.
