Spend a few minutes looking into your mind to declutter some of the thoughts, worries, and anxieties that you no longer want taking up precious space. Think of this as a spring cleaning for your mind where you will take a good look at what has been living rent-free in your head and whether it's it's worth keeping or releasing. You'll end this practice feeling lighter and clearer, just like after decluttering your physical space. Music: Calm and Peaceful by LesFM Bell: Sound Effect from Pixabay

Transitioning from winter to spring often involves decluttering our living spaces.

Today we're going to journey into your inner space and do some mental spring cleaning and make space for the things that are most important.

So find a comfortable position and close your eyes.

Take a few deep breaths,

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

As you breathe,

Envision your thoughts,

Worries,

And anxieties in a physical sense.

These could look like clouds,

Dust,

Marbles,

Whatever works for you.

Now imagine,

As you're breathing,

That you're inhaling clarity and exhaling all of that mental clutter centering yourself in the present moment.

Now imagine standing at the entrance of your living space,

Ready to embark on a mindful spring cleaning journey.

Picture the space around you.

Take note of any clutter or disarray that may have accumulated.

Now imagine that those things that you've accumulated are representative of the mental clutter that takes up so much space in your mind.

With each breath,

Visualize inhaling a sense of order and simplicity.

As you exhale,

Release the need for excessive belongings.

Imagine picking up the clutter in your room,

One item at a time.

Acknowledge what it represents,

Whether that's a fear,

A worry,

Or another thought that no longer serves you.

Inhale the clarity to purge this item,

And then on the exhale,

Allow it to dissolve like dust into the air.

Continue doing this as you move through your mind room.

As you continue this practice,

Focus on one area at a time.

Approach the decluttering process with mindfulness.

As you pick up each item,

Ask yourself if it brings you joy or serves a purpose.

If not,

Express gratitude for its presence in your life and release it,

Creating space for the new,

And allow it to dissolve with your exhale.

Spend the next few moments of silence decluttering your mind.

Now feel the energy of both your physical and mental space becoming clearer and lighter with each item you let go of.

Notice how envisioning the external decluttering mirrors a sense of mental clarity within you.

Once you feel that you have done enough decluttering for the moment,

We'll conclude by expressing gratitude for the mental clarity that you have cultivated.

We'll slowly open your eyes,

And we'll carry this mindful energy into your surroundings and the rest of the day.

Until next time,

Never stop growing.
