As March unfolds,
It marks the transition from winter to spring.
It's a perfect time to delve into personal renewal and growth.
As you settle into your meditation posture,
We're going to embrace the changing season
as a metaphor for your own transformative journey.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated position and allow your spine to lengthen and your
shoulders to relax.
Close your eyes gently and take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling through your nose and exhaling
through your mouth.
As you breathe,
Feel a sense of grounding and connecting with the present moment.
Now imagine roots coming out from the base of your spine,
Your root chakra.
These roots can resemble those of a tree where they can be made of a red light,
Which is
the color represented by that root chakra.
Allow them to twist and turn through the earth and give you a feeling of truly being connected
with it.
Once you feel connected to the earth,
Imagine yourself in a serene garden bathed in a soft
glow of early spring.
Imagine being planted in the ground with your roots in this garden.
Picture the remnants of winter slowly melting away,
Revealing the fertile soil beneath.
Think about how this relates to yourself.
Has an icy exterior formed over your being?
Have you gone into a dormant period?
Imagine these things manifesting as signs of winter in your body.
Allow the sun to shine on the aspects of yourself and warm your being so that they melt away.
Now visualize the first signs of spring as vibrant flowers and new leaves unfurling from
the ground.
These symbolize the potential for growth even within yourself.
What would you like to grow within yourself this coming season?
Envision not only the garden blossoming around you,
But imagine yourself blossoming in the
areas into which you are drawing the energy of spring.
With each inhale,
Draw in the energy of renewal,
Envisioning it as a warm golden light filling
every cell of your being.
Draw it up through your roots,
Just as the plants of the garden draw life from the earth.
As you exhale,
Release any tension or resistance,
Letting go of old patterns that no longer
serve you.
Release any of the energies that you've been holding on to through the winter that may
keep you stuck in your current place in your journey,
Instead of being able to move forward
and grow.
Now,
Direct your attention to the budding flowers around you.
Each blossom represents a new aspect of yourself ready to unfurl.
Embrace the fresh energy and vitality that resides within you waiting to be expressed.
Take the next few breaths to look around and identify some of those aspects that are blooming
around you.
Hold them in your mind so that they can continue to grow through acknowledgement.
Now take a moment to set a clear intention for your personal growth.
Picture this intention as a seed planted in the fertile soil of your being.
With each breath,
Nurture this seed,
Allowing it to sprout and grow with the energy of renewal
surrounding it.
What is this intention?
How will it look when it's fully grown?
Envision yourself nurturing this intention in ways that are sustainable and viable.
When you feel ready,
Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Gently open your eyes and carry the energy of renewal with you as you transition into
your day.
And until next time,
Never stop growing.
