Centering ourselves before working with our deck helps us to connect with our highest selves, The divine, In the universe. During this short meditation, We'll take the next few moments to connect with these so that we can be guided to pull the cards that we need to see and to gain the insight and clarity about their meanings. To start, Close your eyes and take a deep inhale. As you exhale, Release all the tension from your body. Start with your feet, Your legs, Your stomach, Your chest, Your shoulders, Your neck, And all the muscles in your face. Continue to breathe deeply and relax further on each of the next three exhales. On your next inhale, Imagine that you are absorbing a brilliant golden light that's pouring down from the universe and into the crown of your head. Envision this light as a thick molten gold that glows and can be seen radiating from within you. This is your connection with the universal consciousness, Your higher self, And your spirit guides and teachers. We're tapping into all the answers that ever were, Ever are, And ever will be, And becoming a vessel for which they can manifest. Inhale in and down through your feet into the earth, And on each inhale, Allow it to fill you up while it forms deep roots on your exhale. Continue this for the next few breaths. Allow this light and liquid to fill you with the knowledge of your highest self or divine wisdom. Let it be your connection to the source of the inner knowing that you need. You are the channel for the divine wisdom from above and a connection to the earth below. Ask whoever it may be, Or whatever being it may be, That you are connected to for guidance, Openness, And the ability to interpret the cards wisely as you breathe in this light and allow it to fill you. Maintaining that sense of being full of everything you need, Allow the light and liquid to retract into your crown and into your feet. Hold it in yourself, Keeping the gifts that you have been granted.
