Welcome to your May morning meditation.

Find a comfortable seated position,

Either on the floor or in a chair,

With your spine tall and your palms resting gently on your thighs.

Close your eyes softly and let's begin by taking a few deep breaths,

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

Release any tension or worries with each exhale.

As you settle into this moment,

Imagine the first light of dawn breaking through the darkness,

Casting a warm glow across the horizon.

Visualize the soft golden rays of the morning sun gently streaming into your space,

Wrapping you in its embrace.

Feel the warmth of these rays as they touch your skin,

Feeling you with a sense of renewal and vitality.

Take a moment to connect with the energy of the morning sun.

Even if you are not in a place where you can see or feel the sun,

Just know that it's there all the same.

Allow it to infuse you with a renewed sense of purpose and clarity.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more awake and more aware,

Ready to embrace the opportunities that this new day brings.

Now let's take a moment to set our intentions for the day ahead.

Bring to mind one positive intention that you would like to focus on today.

Remember,

An intention is not the same as a goal.

While a goal is something you physically accomplish,

An intention is the thought and feeling that you approach things with.

It could be as simple as practicing gratitude,

Being present in each moment,

Or approaching challenges with a positive attitude.

Whatever intention resonates with you,

Hold it in your heart as we continue our practice.

Take the next few breaths to find one that calls to you,

Has meaning,

And intuitively feels right for you on this day.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Repeat the following affirmation silently to yourself.

I embrace this day with purpose and joy.

Feel the words of the affirmation sinking into your being,

Filling you with confidence and determination.

Now let's take a moment to reflect on what brings you joy and fulfillment.

Think about the things that make your heart sing and your spirit soar.

It could be spending time with loved ones,

Pursuing your passions,

Or simply taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature.

As you reflect on these sources of joy,

Feel a sense of gratitude welling up within you.

Take a moment to express gratitude for the blessings in your life,

Both big and small.

And with each breath,

Feel your heart expanding with love and appreciation.

Now let's take a moment to visualize how you will embody your intention throughout the day.

Imagine yourself moving through your day with ease and grace,

Approaching each task with enthusiasm and positivity.

Visualize yourself radiating joy and confidence,

Inspiring those around you with your infectious energy.

Whatever your intention is,

Envision yourself embodying it in various situations you might encounter today.

How is it different than normal,

And what kind of ripple effect can it create to touch and inspire those around you?

As we bring our meditation to a close,

Take a moment to thank yourself for taking this time to nourish your mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Know that you carry the light of the morning sun within you,

Guiding you on your journey with clarity and purpose.

Take a few moments to slowly transition back to your surroundings,

Wiggling your fingers and toes and gently stretching your body if it feels good.

Notice any sensations that arise as you bring awareness back to the present moment.

Before you go about your day,

Take one final deep breath,

Inhale deeply through the nose,

And exhale fully through the mouth.

Release any remaining tension or stress with this breath,

And allow yourself to feel grounded and centered.

As you go forth into your day,

Carry the energy of this meditation with you,

Knowing that you have the power to create a day filled with positivity,

Purpose,

And joy.

Remember your intention and affirmations,

And allow them to guide you in every moment.

And if you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or disconnected throughout the day,

Remember that you can always return to the space of inner peace and tranquility by simply taking a few moments to breathe and reconnect with your intentions.

So may this morning meditation serve you as a beacon of light to guide you on your journey,

Illuminating the path ahead with clarity and love.

May you embrace each moment with an open heart and a joyful spirit.
