I'm a somatic healing coach and this is your somatic shaking reset to feel like yourself again during the day.
Begin to stand with your feet a hip-width distance apart.
Maybe start to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Wiggle your jaw,
Relax your jaw,
Move your jaw around.
Start to move your shoulders,
Maybe rotating forward,
Rotating backwards.
Now seeing if you could do all of this at the same time.
Wiggling your fingers,
Moving your jaw,
And rolling your shoulders.
Doing this for the next 10 seconds.
And then start to let your knees bounce.
Doing a gentle bounce while standing,
Keeping your spine loose,
Tucking your tailbone in,
And whenever you're ready,
Can you start to shake?
Shaking your hands,
Maybe shaking your ankles,
Shaking your legs,
Moving your tummy,
Shaking your chest,
Shaking your shoulders,
Shaking your head.
Just pretend like you're a wet dog shaking off all the water from your body.
Let's begin to shake for the next minute.
Remembering to keep breathing as you do this shaking,
Feeling any stagnant emotion fling outwards from your body.
Continue to shake.
This is your final 10 seconds to shake.
Shake out everything that you no longer need.

Begin to notice buzzing under your skin or warmth under your skin.
Whenever you're ready,
Begin to put your hand on your heart and take a deep inhale in.
And on the exhale,
Let out a deep sigh.
Let's do it one more time.
Inhale in.
Release out a deep sigh on the exhale.
Now your reset is complete.
