Hi love,

I'm Winnie and I'm an inner child life coach that will be guiding you through this meditation for healing your inner child today.

Begin to find a comfortable position and if it feels safe to do so begin to close down the eyes or bring the gaze softly in front of you.

Start to take a few deep breaths in sighing it through the mouth and allowing yourself to settle into your body.

Let's take one more deep breath in sighing everything out and begin to feel the support of the earth beneath you.

I want you to begin to imagine your heart this connection with your heart perhaps even feeling into your heart space and slowly begin to imagine that there's this beautiful golden door that is opening up in your heart.

As you open this door you begin to see that there's a beautiful golden spiral staircase that is going down into your heart.

You begin to step through the door and step by step begin to descend down into the spiral golden staircase.

Slowly as you're descending you begin to notice that there is another door at the end of this golden staircase.

This door is unlocked.

As you reach this door you place your hand on the doorknob and you begin to open this door.

It enters into this beautiful meadow surrounded by a safe quiet forest.

In this beautiful safe and peaceful place you start to take in all the details around you.

You find the comfort and safety beginning to surround you.

Now in this space you begin to see a younger version of yourself appearing before you.

Begin to notice how old are they?

What are they wearing?

How do they feel?

Perhaps you can gently say,

I see you.

I'm here with you now.

And maybe even introducing your age and a little bit about your life thus far.

You can gently observe their response.

Are they shy?

Surprised?

Excited?

Or maybe even a little hesitant?

Whatever arises,

Can you choose to accept it with love?

Or perhaps asking them,

How are you feeling?

What do you need from me right now?

And finally,

Is there anything you want me to know?

Closing up the conversation and seeing if they are open and would like some comfort from you.

Perhaps by holding their hand or giving them a hug or just simply sitting right beside them.

Let them know that you are here to protect and care for them.

You can let this younger version of you know that they are always welcome in your heart.

And they can stay here in this safe,

Beautiful meadow for as long as they would like.

And letting them know that you will revisit them soon.

Slowly you begin to get up from this beautiful meadow and you walk back towards that door from where you came.

And you say goodbye to this younger version of you who is now safe in your heart.

You close the door behind you and slowly ascend up this beautiful golden spiral staircase step by step until slowly you begin to see the other side of you.

You begin to reach this other door and step back outside.

Taking a few deep breaths in.

Coming back to your body.

Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes.

Back to this moment.

Back to this room.

And whenever you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

Thank you so much for taking time to get to know this inner younger part of you today.

I'm so proud of you for how far you've come.

Sending you so much love.

Thank you for guiding me to my inner child. He feels so angry and distrustful of adults. So much pain that little boy is holding on to. I was able to sit with him in the discomfort and gentle allow him some space to be.
