Hi there.
My name is Winnie,
I'm a somatic healing life coach and I'm here to help you gain some balance and harmony.
In your body today and help your body recharge from burnout.
Find a position that is comfortable,
Whether it's lying down or seated upright,
That lets your spine feel at full length without effort.
Once you're comfortable,
Begin to notice three points of contact that support you.
Maybe it's your sitting bones,
Maybe it's your back,
Maybe it's your feet.
Just begin to notice how you're being supported by your body right now.
On your next exhale,
Can you sigh audibly through parted lips?
Ugh.
Let's do one more.
Sigh audibly.
Letting your day fall away below you.
Let's inhale through our nose for a count of four,
Three,
Two,
And one.
Holding for one,
Two,
And exhaling for six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhaling through your nose for four,
Three,
Two,
1,
Holding here for 1,
2,
And exhaling for 6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Try to do the next couple on your own.
Inhaling for 4,
Holding for two.
Exhaling for six.
Try to stretch the exhale out like warm honey.
Let's do our final breath together,
Inhaling for four.
Holding for 2.
Exhaling out for six.
Beautiful.
Can you begin now to gently scan your body starting at the top of the head.
Noticing.
Any sensations starting at the top of the head.
Scanning your body all the way down to your toes.
And seeing if you can name.
Where the burnout is living today.
Is it maybe a tight band across the forehead?
Maybe.
A tightness of the jaw,
Clenching of the jaw.
Or maybe tightness of the shoulders,
Of the chest.
Maybe it's a dull ache behind the heart.
Or heavy stones in the belly.
Or rigidness in the hips.
Or maybe a sensation in the feet.
It feels like it wants to run.
There is no wrong answer here,
Only information.
Can you spend the next minute scanning your body from crown to toes and just name where the burnout is living today?
Now that you have named where this burnout may be.
Can you imagine that you're standing beneath a crystal waterfall of cool silver light?
On each inhale.
The water gathers and lands on the crown of your head.
And on each exhale,
It begins to cascade down the body.
Rinsing off fatigue,
Rinsing off self-doubt,
Rinsing off all the shoulds right back into the earth.
Allowing this water to flow.
To cleanse you.
Feeling how this water slides down.
Your forehead,
Your eyes,
The back of your neck.
Down your shoulder blades,
Along the spine.
Down the tailbone and flowing all the way down to the soles of your feet.
Allow this crystal waterfall.
Of silver cool light.
To cleanse your body.
Rinsing you of fatigue,
Self-doubt and all the shoulds.
As the last droplets clear you,
Can you begin to notice a soft amber colored ember glowing behind your sternum?
In the center of your chest.
This soft amber ember is your life force,
Is your creative spark.
With every inhale,
Can you picture fresh oxygen fanning that ember brighter and brighter?
And with every exhale,
Let its warmth,
The warmth of this ember,
Radiate into your ribs,
Into your solar plexus,
Into your chest,
Your hips,
Your limbs,
Your fingertips,
Your entire body.
Inhale in.
Fresh oxygen.
Exhaling out the warmth.
Of your inner spark.
This is your life force returning cell by cell.
Rest one palm over the ember.
On your sternum.
And one palm over your belly.
And begin to whisper.
Unworthy.
I can work from overflow,
Not depletion.
My rest is righteous.
Energy is replenishing me now.
I can work when I feel overflowed,
Not depleted.
I deserve to rest.
My energy is being replenished now.
I can work from overflow,
Not depletion.
I deserve to rest.
My energy is being replenished to me now.
Begin to visualize how tomorrow you will wake up with bright eyes and a steady breath.
Moving through your day.
Connected to this ember.
Connected to your life force energy.
Watch yourself,
Answer emails,
Go to work,
Hug a friend,
Create,
Rest,
Go for a walk,
Doing all of this without compromising this inner glow tomorrow.
Once you finish with your visualization of your next day,
Seal it in with one cleansing breath.
Deep inhale in.
Long exhale out.
Begin to gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Returning to the room you're in.
Knowing that you're now carrying the ember that you created into the very next moment.
If you ever need someone to hold space for you and your burnout,
Feel free to check out my description.
Until then,
Thank you for tending to your precious energy.
