Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the full moon in Virgo.
Let us begin.
Go ahead and close your eyes.
Allow yourself to come fully into this present moment.
We can do that with the breath.
And we can do that with visualization.
So imagine you can see your energy,
Your consciousness being magnetized down from all of the places where it supports your human journey.
In the mind,
Outside of the body,
In all of the places where you are creating and sharing and contributing to this human realm.
Imagine all of that energy that is uniquely you can start to be magnetized all the way into your physical form.
So you can imagine right at the core of your body there is a magnetic pull.
You can see it as a crystal or maybe even a magnet.
And you allow that energy,
That pull,
To guide your awareness fully into the body.
As you notice resistance,
Use your breath to simply move the resistance through your body and down all the way to your legs and to your feet and then into the earth.
Notice what happens in your body as you become more present.
So you might find that it feels peaceful.
You might find that you have more resistance.
If so,
Visualize the magnet at the core of your body pulling more and more of your awareness into this moment inside your body.
And any resistance you simply allow to flow through your physical form all the way down to your legs to your feet and into the earth.
Relaxing your muscles as you do this process as many times as you feel guided.
Calling more and more of your consciousness,
Your awareness,
Your full presence into your physical body.
I'm going to offer a little astrology for our mind because often the mind is part of what creates the resistance for us to be present.
So as you continue inviting your awareness into your body,
We gently let the mind remember that a new moon in Virgo is very connected to the body,
To the routines,
The practices,
The health or wellness or not so wellness of our physical body.
And so the most powerful place to be in particular at this new moon is in the body.
So relax the muscles.
Allow your mind to be curious.
What could your body show your mind and your consciousness,
Your energy,
Your soul?
If we were to be curious,
If we were able to harmonize our focus,
Our attention,
Our alignment within the body.
Relaxing the muscles again and noticing how it is becoming quieter inside of the mind,
Calmer and more filled up inside of the body.
When we start to bring our awareness down and in,
Not so much in the mind,
But down into the core of our human vessel,
Our physical form and structure that our soul chose for this lifetime.
When we fill ourselves up with energy that is ours,
There's a relaxing that can happen inside of the body.
You can perhaps hear it in my voice.
When our awareness drops deeper into our physical body,
Our voice drops with that.
We are more filled up.
And so the quality of our voice begins to shift.
The feeling inside of our physical body feels happier,
Calmer,
More harmonious,
Way more present.
Relaxing your muscles and allowing the resistance to continue moving all the way down through your Continue moving all the way down through your body,
Down through your legs and down to your feet and then handing any resistance over to the earth and relaxing your muscles again.
And what happens often in meditation is we start to become aware of how out of communication or out of harmony our mind,
Our body,
Our soul can be during the day.
How our minds keep us so busy that we don't notice fully what is happening inside of our body.
And when our minds are busy and our bodies are not being nourished or taken care of fully,
The soul is often ignored or not as present or honored.
The soul is not as much the guide as perhaps when the mind,
The body,
The soul are in alignment.
So be curious in this moment of meditation.
This isn't a place of judgment or criticism.
It's a place of curiosity.
In meditation we are aware.
We can explore what is happening inside.
We can explore what is happening inside.
And then we can make adjustments if we choose to.
So focus on the lowest part of your body that is connected to the earth.
Perhaps that is your bottom if you're sitting on a meditation pillow like me.
Perhaps it is your feet if you are sitting in a chair or you're walking.
Perhaps it is the whole spine and back of your body if you are laying down.
Bring all of your focus to the lowest part of your body that is connected to the earth.
And then relax your muscles again.
What often happens when we do that is more of our consciousness,
Our awareness flows down into our body from our mind or from wherever it has been outside of our awareness,
Outside of our physical space.
We magnetize more presence into the human form.
Relax your muscles as you do that because Relax your muscles as you do that because you may feel a lot coming into you.
Your energy in you,
Nobody else's.
You might find that this much of your awareness in your body creates an intensity in your body or an electricity in your body.
If so,
Bring your focus again to the lowest part of your body that is connected to the earth.
Relax your muscles and allow yourself to feel your connection to the earth,
The consciousness of our planet.
I call it Gaia.
Perhaps it's your sit bones or your feet.
Imagine you can just synchronize right up with the energy of our planet.
Handing over any resistance,
Any doubt in your ability to instantly connect because you choose to.
And allow your imagination,
Your soul to show you a form of that connection.
For me,
It's always,
Almost always,
A tree.
I see my body as the tree and deep roots going from my feet,
My sit bones,
All the way down underneath the earth,
Weaving through the layers of the soil.
And as those tree roots go far down into the earth,
I can feel the consciousness of Gaia hugging,
Supporting,
Nourishing the part of me that is rooting in.
You might see it as more of a tree of avatar image where you connect in through light,
Through a direct plug right into the core of our planet's energy.
You might have a way that I can't see or understand because it's uniquely yours.
Trust what you see.
And allow your connection to go miles down into this planet.
Underneath the ground of the building that you are in,
Or the land that you are walking on or sitting on in this moment.
Miles down.
And notice what happens in your physical body as you root in that deeply with the energy of Gaia.
Relax your muscles.
It's not a forcing.
It's a harmonizing,
A remembering,
A synchronizing.
Our individual consciousness as a soul in a human body directly with the consciousness of our planet because we choose to have that connection in this moment.
And allow your body to release at this new moon in Virgo anything that is not in your highest and best good for your body.
Anything that you are ready to let go of,
You may not even know what it is.
You may instantly know what it is.
Allow the energy that is toxic or that no longer serves you to run all the way down through your body to your feet and then through those roots into the consciousness of Gaia.
Knowing that she simply transmutes whatever we hand over into energy,
Creative life force.
And whatever you release will be redistributed to where it is most needed.
And then relax your muscles of your body.
Allow your shoulders to open a little wider,
Your heart to open with that a little wider.
And notice how your body feels.
You might feel that there's no thought,
That your mind is unable to hold on to a thought because your body is in a different frequency,
In a state of ease,
Harmony,
Alignment within and also with our planet.
Relax the muscles.
And as you simply rest in this experience with your body,
I will bring in a little more of the astrology to support our minds as our bodies and minds and souls move forward through this little portal of time with the new moon in Virgo.
On the same day that we have the new moon,
Two outer planets are shifting.
Uranus will be stationed indirect.
After being forward,
It is about to go retrograde.
And Pluto will be completing its retrograde in Aquarius and beginning the retrograde into Capricorn.
At the same time,
The new moon opposes Saturn.
So allow your mind to receive the data,
The astrology.
Relax the muscles of your body.
And allow your body to tune back in to how deep the roots go from your body into the earth.
This rooting holds you steady as all of the astrology is making its adjustments in the sky,
In the universe,
In consciousness.
So feel how your connection to Gaia,
Your presence in your body,
Connecting your body to the energy of Gaia,
Simply holds you still as the energy around you is moving,
Adjusting.
Relax the muscles of your body again.
Open your shoulders.
And allow your heart to smile like,
Oh,
This is a moment.
This is a time on our planet where much could potentially shift.
Uranus often brings surprises.
There is a difference when we are surprised and not expecting it than when we are going to be surprised and know that it will happen.
So feel how deep your roots go into the earth.
If a surprise arrives with this deep connection to our planet,
You might just turn and look at whatever the energy is that is surprising you and smile,
Grin,
Like,
Yeah.
And you just run whatever comes up inside of you down through your body and into the earth.
And you steady yourself again.
You open your shoulders.
You turn.
You look around.
And you feel how strong your body is,
How steady your body is,
How clear your presence is.
And Pluto in Capricorn is going to offer us another period of reflection,
Going all the way back to 2008 when Pluto first moved into Capricorn.
So there is some tidying up that will happen.
I see it as like the broom coming into the kitchen perhaps and just sweeping the floors one last time.
We've already been cleaning the kitchen and now we're just doing a final sweep.
So feel how steady you are in your body.
Spine straight,
Shoulders open,
Heart open.
You can even put that smile back on your face.
Okay.
There might be a little tidying up over the next month or two.
We've got this.
There might be a surprise arriving.
Okay.
We are aware.
And with all of this information for our mind,
With your full awareness in your body,
With your full awareness in your body,
Your roots going way down connecting in with Gaia,
Let's bring our mind's focus back to the new moon in Virgo.
So a new moon offers us a time to set intentions.
Virgo is often associated with the details,
The specifics.
But what if with all of this big energy moving,
We could expand our view a little bit?
So perhaps we set an intention for the new moon,
But it's from a wider perspective than right up close in the details.
With all of this information,
What intentions come to mind and trust what you receive?
Staying grounded in your body,
Relaxing your muscles and feeling your connection deep down into the earth.
Perhaps your intentions are connected to your body,
Ways to nourish and support and strengthen your body,
To shift to some of the ways or habits that toxicity has been playing in your body.
Perhaps your intentions are connected to time and a space.
Your intentions are connected to time and astrology and all of these shifts that are coming and how to steady yourself through that.
And perhaps it's connected more to the bigger picture,
The structures,
The analytics that we look at our life through.
Trust whatever shows up for you and then feel in your body.
Is this an intention I know I will honor?
Is this an intention that supports my soul's journey here in this human experience?
And if so,
How do I commit to following through with my intention?
What accountability do I put in place for myself so that one month from now when I return into the new moon energy,
I will see how I walked in integrity with my intention.
Releasing any resistance,
Relaxing the muscles of our bodies,
And slowly starting to bring ourselves back into full presence.
You can imagine as you're doing that you're in your body feeling how deeply rooted you are to this planet,
How strong your spine is,
How steady and open your shoulders are and your heart is,
And you're just landing yourself landing yourself fully in this body,
Fully in this moment,
Coming back into awareness of the 3D reality around us.
So perhaps as you slowly start to open your eyes,
You just look at one thing in front of you.
For me it's often the crystal that I hold in my hand and so I can start to take in the details of this 3D reality as my mind,
My consciousness is integrating what I was seeing and visualizing through my third eye,
Through my body,
Through my presence in my body.
So you can wiggle your fingers,
You can wiggle your toes,
You can start to move your shoulders a little bit and allow your eyes to take in more of the room around you,
The physical construct of your reality.
And pause,
Feel what's happening in your body.
Imagine with your eyes open you can still see how deeply rooted your energy is with the planet underneath your body.
Feel the buzz,
The electricity of energy inside of you that you activated by becoming more present,
By releasing toxicity into the earth and steadying yourself fully in this moment.
You create your reality and your body is the vessel through which you do that.
So move slowly back into your physical day and perhaps pause,
Take a little time to journal,
To nourish yourself with some water and then to commit to the intentions that you set in the sacred space with yourself.

I love this meditation! I listened to it again today after listening yesterday, New Moon day. It's very grounding and inspired me to ground my intentions for the coming month in specific action steps. I appreciate the regular reminders to relax the muscles.
