Sometimes,

We just need a reset,

A complete stop of everything,

A moment of stillness,

Of emptiness,

A moment in which the peace that is innate in our true being naturally takes over again.

That is exactly what we will do in this short meditation.

Let's begin.

Make yourself ready.

Sit or lay down in a very comfortable position.

One in which you can truly relax.

Now,

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

And as you exhale,

Imagine any worry,

Stress or discomfort just floating away from you.

Another deep and slow breath,

And exhale,

Imagining.

One more slow breath,

And exhale,

Releasing the restless activity of the mind,

Floating away from you,

Dissolving into nothingness.

Allow your breath to flow naturally.

In this moment,

There is nothing that you have to try,

Nothing that you have to control.

You can just give everything away.

I want you to give yourself permission to give all of your problems away.

Gently rest your attention,

Not on the mind or body,

But on the silent awareness beyond your mind.

On that awareness that is just silently,

Without judgment or labels,

Observing all experiences and all appearances.

Rest your attention on that awareness,

That peaceful sense of I am,

I exist,

Nothing else.

And notice how this awareness does not cling to thoughts,

It does not give meaning to anything.

It just rests.

It just is.

Allow yourself to just be,

Formless,

Silent,

Where all is whole,

Nothing needs to change.

Rest as that wholeness,

And allow that feeling of peace to embrace you.

Whenever you're ready,

You can go on with your day,

Knowing that the true you is always already at peace.
