Welcome,
There's someone who's been waiting for you.
Not outside,
Not in the future,
Somewhere inside.
In a room you stopped visiting a long time ago.
In a part of your story you may have closed the door on.
They have been there the whole time,
Patient,
Quiet,
Waiting.
Today you're going to visit them,
But first let's make sure you're ready.
Let's make sure your body feels safe enough to go where we are going.
Find your stillness,
However your body needs to arrange itself,
Let it.
There's no correct posture for this.
There's only what feels right.
And notice your breath,
Not to change it,
Just to witness it,
This quiet companion that's been with you since the beginning.
Now let your awareness move gently through your body,
Starting at the top of your head,
Moving down your face,
Your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw,
Down your neck and throat,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Your chest and your heart space,
Your belly,
Your hips,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Wherever you find tension,
You don't need to release it.
Just notice it,
Just let it know you are aware of it,
That's enough.
Set a quiet intention now,
Something for this journey,
It might be I'm ready to listen.
Whatever feels true,
State it silently in present tense.
And as your body settles deeper,
You might begin to notice that something in your awareness is opening,
A door you didn't know was there,
A softening at the edges of the ordinary world.
Let your breath become continuous now.
Inhale,
Blowing into exhale,
Exhale,
Blowing into inhale.
No gaps,
Just a gentle circle.
And somewhere in the space behind your eyes,
Or in the space around you,
Or somewhere you can't quite name,
A path is forming.
It's familiar,
Even if you've never seen it before.
It leads somewhere you know,
Even if you've forgotten.
You are already moving toward it,
You are already on your way.
This path is leading you somewhere specific,
Not a place you're constructing,
A place that's revealing itself.
Let it come,
Maybe it's a house,
A garden,
A place from your childhood,
Or a place that feels like childhood,
Even if you've never been there.
Maybe it's not visual at all,
Maybe it's just a feeling,
A temperature,
A quality of light or shadow.
Whatever arrives,
Let it be real,
Trust it.
And as you arrive in this place,
Notice what your body does.
Does something tighten?
Does something soften?
Is there a pull towards something,
Or a pulling away?
Let the body speak,
It remembers things the mind has filed away.
Somewhere in this space,
Someone is here,
Someone young,
Someone who's been here for a long time.
You don't need to go looking,
Just become aware.
They might be close or far away.
They might be hiding or sitting in plain sight.
They might be looking at you or looking away.
When you sense them,
Just notice.
How old are they?
What are they wearing?
What's their posture like?
Is there something in their eyes?
This is the one who has been waiting.
A younger version of you.
The one who was here before the armor went on.
Before you learned to carry.
Before the world told you who to be.
How do you feel toward them right now?
Not what you think you should feel.
What do you actually feel?
Is there tenderness?
Sadness?
Recognition?
Something else?
Move a little closer.
Or let them come to you.
And from that steady,
Witnessing place inside you,
The deepest you,
The one who is here right now,
Fully grown,
Fully present.
Ask them.
What have you been needing someone to say to you?
Let that answer come however it comes.
A word.
A feeling.
A look.
An image.
Don't rush it.
They've been waiting a long time for someone to ask.
And now ask.
What did you need that you didn't get?
Stay with whatever surfaces.
If emotions come,
Let it come.
If tears come,
Let them come.
Your body knows what to do with this.
It's been holding it.
And now it's allowed to move.
Now I'm going to invite you to do something important.
Step into this younger version of yourself for a moment.
Feel their body,
Their smallness.
Their posture.
Feel what it's like to be them.
To be waiting.
To need something that never came.
And from this place,
If they could say one thing to the world,
What would it be?
Now step back into yourself.
Your full,
Present self.
The one who showed up today.
The one who is here now.
And say to this younger you,
What no one ever said.
Whatever those words are,
Let them come from your chest,
Not from your head.
The words they needed to hear,
Say them now,
Silently.
Notice what happens in your body as those words land in your body,
In theirs.
Something is shifting between you and the younger self.
You can feel it.
The distance is closing.
The walls are thinning.
If this younger version of you has been carrying something,
A belief,
A fear,
A story about who they are and what they deserve,
See if they're ready to let it go.
Not because they have to,
But because someone is finally here to take it from them.
If they hand it to you,
Receive it.
Feel its weight in your hands and let it transform.
Let it dissolve or burn or float away or sink into the earth.
Whatever feels right,
Let it go.
Breathe in now,
Deeply.
Hold and let it go through the mouth with a sound if it wants to come.
And now see this younger version of you without that burden.
How do they stand?
How do they look at you now?
Is there something in their eyes?
The story that said you had to carry this alone,
That said that this child had to fend for themselves,
That said no one was coming,
That story is being rewritten now because you came,
You showed up,
You are here.
And now imagine taking that younger self by the hand,
Not leaving them behind,
Bringing them with you.
They are part of you.
They've always been.
But now,
They're not alone in there anymore.
Walk forward together,
Back toward the life that's waiting for you.
The life where this child no longer locked in a room,
No longer forgotten,
But held,
Carried gently,
Included.
How does it feel to move through the world with this part of you acknowledged?
Not hidden,
Not ashamed of,
But welcome.
Bring your hand to your chest.
Feel the warmth.
This is where they live now,
Not in a locked room,
Here,
With you.
Whenever you place your hand here,
You're placing it on them too.
Return to your intention,
The resolve you set at the beginning.
Say it again silently.
It carries something new now,
Something that was lived,
Not just spoken.
Begin to notice the room around you,
The air,
The sounds,
Your body resting here,
Your breath steady and quiet.
There's nothing to figure out,
Nothing to analyze.
What needed to happen,
Happened.
Your body knows.
Let your fingers move,
Your toes.
Let the body begin to remember the outer world.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
You are here now,
And you are not alone in there anymore.
Www.
Mooji.
