Hi friends.
This is Samantha,
The Blissful Soul.
As humans,
We naturally seek validation from others,
Whether that be appreciation,
Affection,
Or acceptance.
In today's busy world,
We often go through life without realizing that we're not providing others with these little tokens of appreciation by saying thank you.
Small signs of affection,
Such as a smile,
Or showing that we accept them for who they are.
This could be little things,
Such as holding the door for someone who is on their phone,
And they walk through without acknowledging it or saying thank you.
Or you work hard on a project at work,
And it takes you weeks to complete,
And none of your co-workers or your boss even acknowledges it.
Perhaps you spent time getting ready for a big night out,
And somebody says to you,
Is that really what you're going to wear?
Not accepting us,
Or appreciating us,
Can impact us.
If these little things,
Like not saying thanks for holding the elevator,
Or smiling back when you smiled at them,
Although they might seem minor,
Start to pile up in us.
They have a ripple effect out in the universe too.
They can agitate us,
They can anger us,
And we display that out to the world.
When you have a whole world of people who have these happen to them,
It can negatively impact the world,
So we need to have self-love and appreciation for ourselves.
As people are not always consciously doing this,
We can pass on these gifts of love more easily,
And then the ripple to the universe will be positive.
So today,
We're just going to do a short set of affirmations to acknowledge self-love,
Which is often overlooked by others.
So take a moment to settle in,
Just get comfortable,
Close your eyes,
And now take a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
And if you're comfortable,
Put one hand on your heart,
And one hand on your stomach.
We will focus on three affirmations today.
You can repeat them after me,
Either out loud or in your head.
I excel at what I do.
I am beautiful.
I am loved and appreciated.
Breathe these words in deeply and let them settle in you.
I am loved and appreciated.
Now let's take a little bit to sit in silence as you continue to repeat these three affirmations to yourself.
I will repeat them with you one more time.
I excel at what I do.
I am beautiful.
I am loved and appreciated.
Now continue them on your own until I come back to you.
Keep your eyes closed.
Slowly come back to the present moment.
Remember,
You excel at what you do.
You're beautiful.
You're loved and appreciated.
Now as you go forward,
Let this positivity ripple into the universe.
Slowly open your eyes when you are ready.
