This practice involves spreading love and kindness by silently saying kind phrases to people around you, acknowledging that they have hopes, dreams, fears, and loved ones just like you. You can do this while walking, driving, or sitting in a public space. Choose one person at a time, think of a kind phrase for them, and continue for a few minutes. Hi,

Friend.

Today's practice is simple yet powerful.

It's not just about cultivating loving-kindness.

It's also about letting go of overthinking and concentrating the mind.

You can do this practice while walking,

Driving,

Or sitting in a space where other people are present.

This can be part of your normal routine,

Or you can set aside special time for it.

In this situation,

You pick one person at a time,

Whoever grabs your attention naturally.

Then recognize that this person has hopes,

Dreams,

Fears,

Regrets,

Memories,

And loved ones,

Just like you.

This person wants to be happy.

Then you would offer a simple phrase of loving-kindness in your head,

Such as,

May you live with ease today.

Then you would simply move to the next person you see around you and repeat.

Allow yourself to enjoy the practice of dropping kindness bombs on the other people you see.

You can continue doing this for several minutes.

If you run out of people,

You can return to someone you have already wished kindness to,

Or offer yourself a little kindness.

When you get to where you are going or are ready to move on with your day,

Let the loving-kindness phrases go.

However,

Don't hesitate to return to them at any point as a reminder of your intention to be kind.

Enjoy this practice today.

And don't forget to include yourself in loving-kindness.

With this in mind,

You can pause this practice and do this practice of dropping love bombs on people in public when you go out and sit,

Walk,

Or drive today.

Then I will see you again tomorrow.

Or come back and finish playing today's track if you want a little guidance once you are in public.

I will guide you through a short practice of sending love out to others if you are not there already.

So if you are now in public,

Let's get started.

You pick one person at a time,

Whoever grabs your attention naturally.

Then recognize that this person has hopes,

Dreams,

Fears,

Regrets,

Memories,

And loved ones just like you.

This person wants to be happy.

Then you would offer a simple phrase of loving-kindness in your head,

Such as,

May you live with ease today.

Simply move to the next person you see around you and repeat.

Allow yourself to enjoy the practice of dropping kindness bombs on the other people you see.

You can continue doing this.

If you run out of people,

You can return to someone you have already wished kindness to.

Or offer yourself a little kindness.

Let the loving-kindness phrases go.

However,

Don't hesitate to return to them at any point as a reminder of your intention to be kind.

Enjoy this practice today.

And don't forget to include yourself in loving-kindness.
