Good morning and welcome to this beautiful new day.
Let's together slowly greet the day and set the tone for the day ahead.
You might still be laying in your bed or if you choose finding a comfortable seat,
Awakening the spine a little by stretching it long if you're laying or grounding into your seat reaching the spine tall like it's peeking up just over the horizon line.
Crown of the head reaches towards the sky,
Hands rest palms facing up to receive this new day.
Shades of the eyes still drawn closed or a soft morning gaze down.
Let's invite in the privilege of this fresh new day by drinking in three clearing full breaths in through the nose,
Feel your chest,
Ribs and back of the heart expand and a full sigh out through the mouth awakening from our slumber.
Two more deep breaths in,
Sighing it out as you soften your shoulders with the exhalation.
One more of those breathing in together and a sigh out.
Now just let the breath settle back into its natural morning rhythm,
Feeling that little tingle of aliveness from that flush of oxygen,
Prana,
Our life force.
Now bring one hand to rest gently on your beautiful heart.
As the next breath comes in,
Feel it blossoming and expanding and opening to the possibility of this day.
With your hand resting on your heart,
Let's bring to mind five things that you're grateful for this morning.
Pressing softly the tip of each finger against your chest as if to play a key of gratitude as you recall each one,
However big or small.
Your bed,
Your loved one,
This new day.
Feeling those feelings of gratitude as your heart swells towards the warmth of your palm as you play these little keys of gratitude.
Placing your hand back down now,
Palms facing up,
Just feeling that new day washing in all its opportunity,
Possibility and washing out any fear or doubt.
Now let's set an intention for your day,
Perhaps just two words.
How are you going to show up for yourself today?
Let's take one word with the breath in and one with the breath out.
Be productive or calm,
Loving,
Kind,
Grateful,
Peaceful.
Embodying it as you breathe in and sending your intention out as you breathe out.
Take a moment now as your intention meets you or your intention for your day lands or you may just like to remind yourself to consciously breathe in and out.
And throughout your day,
Bring those two words back to reset at any time aligning with the intention your mantra for your day.
Whenever you need,
Breathe them in and then breathe them back out into the universe.
Letting go of the intention setting now,
Let's guide your awareness back to the rise and fall of your chest,
Blossoming and expanding,
Releasing and relaxing with each exhalation.
We'll bring one hand back to your heart and then place the other one on top.
I'd like you to imagine your heart as a big bright yellow sun radiating all that love and warmth out.
From your heart space,
Start letting that light expand and spread slowly encompassing your whole body in that sparkling warm and vivacious yellow light,
Shining and aligning you in the right direction today,
Keeping you safe and illuminated,
Ready for your day.
With this beautiful warm energizing glow radiating from you now,
Let's join our hands at our palms together.
