Find a comfortable position for you.
Alright,
Let's take a little time for a bit of a opening meditation.
If sitting crossed leg is not comfortable for you,
No worries.
You can sit with your legs out long.
You can sit up on a stool or a chair.
I do recommend lifting your hips a little higher than the knees.
Take a moment now to really choose what's going to be best for you.
And then once you are in your comfortable position,
Close your eyes.
Let's take one hand at the lower abdomen area,
One hand at the chest.
Starting to tune into the cadence of your breath.
You might even observe how your shoulders are relaxing.
Maybe even a sense of the hips and legs getting a little heavier.
Drop the shoulders,
Drop the jaw.
Now begin to guide your breath to become a bit deeper.
Inhaling into the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
This next inhale,
We're going to hold the breath for three counts.
Breathe in.
Everyone hold for three,
Two,
One.
Exhale through your mouth.
And again,
Breathe in.
And hold for three,
Two,
One.
Exhale fully through pursed lips.
Next round,
Breathe in.
And hold five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Release.
Feel your breath pressing all the way out.
Finishing with a cleansing breath.
So nice,
Audible exhale.
Breathing in.
Guide your palms together.
And now start to rub your hands briskly,
Building up some heat here.
We're going to cup the eyes.
Taking another full inhale here.
Massaging the temple.
And then reaching behind your head and getting right below the skull.
Take your thumbs in a downward motion.
I'm guiding your peace fingers,
One in front,
One in back of the ear.
All the way down into the jaw.
Let me give you a little time here to perhaps explore some other areas you'd like to give attention to.
And then as you're ready,
Relax your hands.
And if you haven't already,
Open your eyes.
Let's take a little stretchy stretch to one side.
And now the other.
Little twist.
And the other side.
Awesome.
Coming out of your comfortable seat.
Let's work the legs a little bit.
Just giving them a little shake out here.
