Good morning.
Good evening.
Good afternoon.
Wherever you may be.
Whatever you may be doing.
My name is Thariru Mundawarara.
And I try and help people rebuild a trusting,
Compassionate relationship with themselves.
And so doing.
.
.
The hope is that.
.
.
They can meet whatever life brings from a place of inner stability.
Clarity,
And presence.
Today.
We're going to explore what it feels like when you've drifted far from yourself and how to find your way back home.
We start with a poem.
You didn't leave all at once.
It was slow.
A quiet stepping away.
But you're still there.
Waiting.
To be found.
Now let's slow everything down.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and hold it at the top.
And exhale through your mouth.
Allow everything to soften.
One more time,
Breathe in deeply.
And hold.
And release.
And when you're ready.
.
.
Allow your eyes to soften.
And gently close.
And let's begin.
Feel the weight.
Of your body.
Notice where you're being held.
The chair,
The floor,
The bed.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
Your jaw to soften.
And simply notice the breath moving in.
And out.
There's truly no need to change anything.
Just be here.
And just notice.
You are here.
You are present.
You are enough.
And from this grounded place see yourself standing at the edge.
Of a quiet garden.
One that feels familiar.
The air.
Cool.
The light is soft,
Warm,
Golden You are alone here.
But not lonely.
This garden is yours.
It has always been yours.
And as you stand at the edge,
You notice a path.
On that winds gently through tall grass and wildflowers.
It's a familiar path.
Evoked it.
But somewhere along the way.
He stopped coming here.
The Laul of Life became.
The days became full.
And slowly quietly you drifted away from this place and you drifted away from yourself.
Now as you stand here,
Notice if a part of you feels hesitant.
Part that wonders if it's safe to return.
A path that's been keeping watch for so long it forgot.
And it's keeping watch it forgot how to just.
.
.
Rest.
See if you can notice that part.
Notice it without needing to push it away.
Just notice.
This?
This makes sense.
There is nothing wrong with you.
You did not abandon yourself on purpose.
Life asks you to move quickly,
To be strong,
To keep going.
And in the process you left yourself behind.
Here now.
And that matters.
You're allowed to come back.
You're allowed to slow down.
You're allowed to return to the garden that has always been yours.
Here there's nothing to fix,
Nothing to prove.
You're just coming home.
Now as you stand.
At the beginning of that path.
Allow yourself to take a step forward.
And another.
And another,
One foot in front of the other.
And as you do so,
The path is soft beneath you,
The wildflowers brush gently against your ankles,
Your calves.
And with every step you feel a shift.
The tightness in your chest begins to ease,
The noise in your mind.
Begins to quiet.
You're not running towards yourself.
You're not forcing anything,
You're simply returning.
I stay.
Breath by breath.
And as you continue to walk.
Deeper into the garden.
You see a place to rest.
A patch of grass.
A stone bench,
A place that feels like it was made by someone.
Just for you.
Sit down.
Feel the ground beneath you won't.
The rays from the sun on your skin.
And as you sit here,
Place.
One hand on your heart.
And feel it beat.
Steady.
Constant.
Familiar.
Pounding.
Give Him life.
Pumping.
This is the part of you that Never left.
Part that has been here all along waiting.
Waiting for you to come back.
And now?
Softly,
Gently say to yourself,
I am here.
I am back with me.
I am home.
This is what it feels like to return to yourself,
To be.
Your own companion to know that you will never abandon you.
To have complete,
Total,
Unconditional trust and love.
In self.
You are back with you.
And you're back in the homestead.
Let the garden image soften.
And bring its truth,
Its essence back out with you.
Physically feel your feet on the ground.
Feel the breath in your chest and feel that hand that still sits on your heart.
You didn't lose yourself forever.
Is simply drifted.
And now?
You found your way back.
And again when life becomes loud.
And it will.
You can come back,
You can return.
Just garden.
These flowers,
This path,
This grass is always yours,
This path is always open and you are always free.
Home.
Yeah.
And if you'd like,
You can stay just a little bit longer.
Pause the practice and just breathe.
Just be.
Just rest.
In the quiet company of yourself.
And when you're ready.
Press play and return.
Now.
Roll your shoulders.
Or your neck.
Bring warmth to your legs.
Your chest.
Or your feet.
And when it feels right.
Gently allow your eyes to open.
And bring yourself back out of the practice.
Thank you for being here.
And I ask you to take this feeling with you.
You are seen.
You are home.
You are enough.
And if this practice resonated with you,
I invite you to explore.
My course.
Titled.
What to do when you get triggered.
It continues this journey of not just coming back to yourself and meeting the younger parts of you that have been longing for your return,
But it helps you connect and understand.
Your parts.
Yourself.
Bring them together.
And establish that trust.
Thank you.
And until the next time
