Welcome to day 8 of our Lionsgate journey.
Tomorrow we stand before the Lion's Gate.
Tonight,
We climb.
Take a slow breath in.
And gently breathe out Again,
Breathing in.
.
.
And breathing out Imagine an ancient pathway rises beneath your feet.
The lanterns that once lined the trail now rest far below.
Their golden glow scattered across the mountainside like tiny embers.
Ahead.
Stone steps wind upward through the night.
Each one has been worn smooth by countless footsteps you begin to climb Above you,
The sky deepens.
The stars grow brighter with every step.
One shines with quiet brilliance,
Sirius.
Its light rests across the staircase like a silver ribbon Higher still.
Until the final step brings you.
To a circular platform.
Open to the sky In its center stands a sundial.
Carved from pale stone though night has fallen A single beam of starlight touches its center.
The shadow begins to turn.
Snoony gracefully.
Until it points directly towards the lion's gate glowing on the distant horizon.
The air becomes wonderfully still.
The beam of light widens.
Golden patterns begin to spread across the stone beneath your feet circles lines ancient shapes flowing across the platform.
Like ripples across water they gather around you Quietly.
Patiently.
As though the temple itself is preparing for tomorrow you stand at the heart of the pattern Above,
Sirius burns brightly.
Ahead.
The lion's gate shines between two mountain peaks.
For a few peaceful breaths Feel yourself standing between earth and sky.
Between where you've been and where you are about to step.
Imagine the light of Sirius pouring gently through the crown of your head.
Flowing through your body.
Touching every part of you with warmth.
Some people experience the Lion's Gate as a season of awakening.
A time to open to fresh possibilities.
To clearer intention.
To a quiet courage needed to begin again.
If that speaks to you rest here for a moment Breathing receiving.
Looking towards the gate The beam of starlight slowly softens.
The ancient patterns fade back into the stone the sundial becomes still.
Tomorrow,
The journey continues Take one final breath.
Feel into the surface that is supporting you.
Notice the space around you Carry this feeling with you into the day ahead.
And when you are ready.
Open your eyes and I'll see you tomorrow at the Lion's Gate
