So I'd like to invite us all to just collectively arrive here together in this moment.
Maybe we can just take a minute to feel the bottoms of our feet on whatever surface they rest upon and take a really deep breath in up from the earth all the way into the belly and as you exhale out just arriving here in this present moment in the here and the now.
So as I was reflecting this morning and sitting in stillness and listening to my own meditations and really sitting with what gratitude means to me what it means for me to be grateful and I found this deep sense of appreciation.
Appreciation in my body for the communities that I'm a part of for the friends and family that I have and I realized that gratitude was more than just being thankful and and feeling appreciation but it's an offering from the heart.
It's an offering that in this moment you are choosing to feel good.
You are choosing to feel whole.
You are choosing to feel love for those people and places and experiences that you bow down in gratitude to and I was experiencing this immense thanks for the presence of my community within the islands of coherence for the community that join with me every month for these gratitude meditations within the Heart Centered Gratitude Facebook group and for the community of souls that join together just to be in the field with one another to feel the love and presence from one another.
I recognize that we all have a life that pulls us in many directions.
We get pulled into the past.
We get yanked into the future.
There are a lot of responsibilities and things that we all have to tend to but gratitude,
Gratitude is a beautiful tool that can help us to center ourselves,
That can help to bring us to the here and the now as we sit with the question of what is it that I'm grateful for right now?
What am I thankful for right now?
And so maybe as we start to kind of settle in a little deeper for this experience this morning and move into our meditation together,
You can orient yourself in this moment with what you are grateful for right now.
I invite you to hold whatever it is that you're thankful for in your heart and take a moment to actually speak it out loud.
I mean if you're in the Zoom room you're all on mute so you won't be heard.
You have that privacy.
If you're watching this on Facebook live it's being streamed and you have that privacy but invoke and claim what it is that you're grateful for in this now moment and as you speak it out loud you call the energy of gratitude to you.
As you claim it you allow this energy of gratitude to move through your body and being.
So once again I welcome you all here today and I am grateful for each and every one of you that's here with me in this now moment from wherever you are in space and time and with that we will move into our meditation.
So if you haven't already,
Now is a wonderful time to let your eyes drift closed and to gently shift your awareness to your inner world.
Taking a moment to feel your feet and whatever surface they rest upon.
Feeling yourself ground into the earth below you as you make this connection between your feet and the surface below.
Breathing just a little deeper and slower visualize as though you have tree roots growing out of the bottom of your feet and extending way down into the earth,
Rooting you and grounding you between our sweet mother and this moment.
And then gently calling your attention up to the crown of your head and visualizing a stream of white light extending up from the crown of your head and into the cosmos and tethering you and attuning you to the universal field beyond your own.
Breathing just a little deeper and slower allowing yourself to melt into this connection between earth and cosmos.
And then gently calling your awareness into your sacred heart space in the center of your beautiful chest.
Still breathing a little deeper and slower and visualizing as this grounding from mother earth joins with your heart and the attuning to the cosmos connects in with this sacred space of your heart.
Letting yourself fully arrive here in this moment as you breathe in the earth and sky into your sacred being.
Maybe you notice thoughts coming and going.
Just gently observe whatever is there as the witness beyond your mind and then let your focus of attention drift back to your sacred heart.
Fall deeply into slow and elongated inhales and exhales and feel fully and deeply into this divine connection between earth and sky.
And as you breathe deeply into your heart,
I invite you to feel into the energetic essence of gratitude,
Of appreciation,
Of giving true thanks.
What does gratitude feel like to you?
And where can you locate this sensation in your body?
Does it feel like love?
Does it feel like deep peace?
Does it feel like a cleansing away and an acceptance of what is?
Whatever this feels like to you,
Allow each breath to infuse this feeling of gratitude,
Calling it more deeply into your body,
Heart,
And field.
And if you find yourself distracted or being called in another direction by thoughts or noises in the background,
Just gently and deeply call your attention back to your breath,
Back to your heart,
Back to this experience of the felt sensation of gratitude in your body.
And letting any stories dissolve into a moment of simply being with this energetic essence and vibration of gratitude,
With each breath breathing deeply into this sensation,
And infusing it with the love of your divine heart,
Amplifying the gratitude felt in your body and field with each breath of love that you take.
And letting your awareness be present here in this moment as you breathe in the divine love and vibration of gratitude.
And as you continue to breathe in deeply and slowly,
Amplifying the sensation of gratitude with each breath,
You can stay here and simply bask in the brilliance of this vibration of appreciation.
Or if you feel called,
You can gently begin sending out this energy and vibration of gratitude from your heart into the world around you,
With each breath pulsing this felt sensation of thanks just as a ripple,
A wave from your heart into the collective field where all hearts are joined together as one.
Witnessing as this gratitude pulses out from your heart,
And visualizing the energetic movement of love,
Of grace,
And deep thanks as you send this sensation of gratitude out into the world,
Trusting that this energy knows where it needs to go,
Knows where it's being called.
All you need to do is be present with your breath,
Be present with your heart,
And be present with this divine dance of feeling and experiencing gratitude and pulsing it out into the collective,
Continuously calling your awareness back to your breath,
Back to your heart,
And back to this experience of sensing and feeling deep gratitude and sharing this vibration into the collective heart.
And now,
While maintaining this connection with the energetic essence of gratitude,
With the love of the collective field,
I invite you to gently shift your awareness back to your own heart,
And for a moment,
Simply honor the path that you have been walking on that brought you here.
Honor the divine being that is you in this perfect,
And then gently begin allowing your attention to shift,
Inviting in the presence of the space around you and the room that holds you,
Feeling held in the energy of gratitude and love as you gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Calling in the dimensions beyond just the internal and vibrational,
And letting your awareness return to the space that holds your body,
And when you feel ready,
And when you feel called,
Gently opening your eyes,
And offering one more bow of thanks,
Of gratitude,
For this moment,
Right here,
Right now.
