Welcome,
Dear one,
To this guided meditation intended to help you start your day feeling relaxed and at ease with wherever you are in your life at this time.
To begin,
I invite you to gently close your eyes and allow your awareness to drift inside,
Taking a moment to simply notice how you feel.
Being aware of any subtle sensations or emotions without judgment or the need for them to be any different than they are at this time.
With your awareness in your body,
Gently begin deepening your breath.
Breathing in and out to the count of five.
I'll count the first set for you and then I'll leave you alone with the music to count on your own for a while.

Now continue with this breath,
Simply being present with your body in the breath and the gentle sound of music in the background.
Inviting the feelings of calm and ease into your body and mind as you breathe.
Inviting the body to relax and the mind to slow down.
Feeling present and aware of your precious breath.
And when you complete your next breath,
Gently allow your breathing to take on a more natural rhythm and slowly begin drifting your awareness back to the room or physical space that holds you.
Bringing gentle movements to the fingers and toes and letting the body move in whatever way feels called to move.
And then when you're ready,
Gently opening your eyes and returning to a new moment in space and time.
