In fact,
You are not walking at all,
But being carried.
You are in the arms of your big,
Lovable giant who has promised you a special treat.
Tonight,
He tells you,
You will be visiting madame for a healing meditation and she has the most wonderful session planned for you.
As you drift through the corridor,
You feel weightless and free and being carried by your gentle giant,
You instantly feel safe and protected.
Already,
You cannot wait to see what madame has in store.
Gradually,
Your gentle giant reaches the end of this corridor and he slowly places you down,
But still your feet do not touch the floor.
You are floating just an inch above the ground that is covered in a swirling mist of purple and blue.
The giant tells you he better be off now.
He wouldn't want to intrude on your meditation,
But he insists that you must come by soon and pay him a visit.
With a tight embrace,
You thank the giant for bringing you here and as he walks down the corridor,
You turn back to face the open archway filled with a swirling palette of black,
Blue,
Purple and silver.
Suddenly,
You hear a soft,
Soothing voice coming out to greet you.
You may enter my sanctuary and immerse yourself in peace.
You float through the arched stone doorway and a soft stardust rises up from the floor.
And drifts around your head as each blink grows heavier and heavier.
The room is decorated with herbs and plants that grow in real time and sprout leaves and flowers of deep red,
Dark emerald,
Bright sapphire and sizzling gold.
Perched on many wooden shelves are different glass bottles filled with bubbling potions in all the colors of the rainbow.
The four tall windows around the room let in the moonlight and the beams connect perfectly in the middle of the room where rests a private four-poster bed with huge soft blankets and fluffy pillows.
On each of the four corners of the bed frame hangs a soft golden lantern that pulses gently as if breathing with magic.
In one end of the room is a small water fountain where the shimmering turquoise flows in slow motion and seems to be peppered with gold dust.
The air is infused with ancient enchantments and it's as if you can actually feel them on your skin wrapping around you in a warm blanket of comfort.
Welcome to Madame's chamber,
The voice says.
Here you are free to leave any and all burdens at the door,
To surrender to all the magic of the castle and to embrace this healing sanctuary.
You will cleanse your mind,
Restore your body,
And soothe your soul.
And with that,
A small framed elderly woman steps out of a purple archway to your right.
Her kind and welcoming eyes are an instant comfort and she reassures you here you are completely safe,
I promise that nothing will find you,
Please make yourself at home.
You float yourself over to the huge inviting bed and you are met by a new heaviness as all of the weight comes back into your body and you sink very slowly into this giant mattress as if you are passing through an enchanted cloud in slow motion.
The mattress aligns with your body perfectly and you feel supported in all of the right places as if it has been created just for you.
Any lingering tension or discomfort is slowly dissolved and this healing sanctuary is already working its magic.
Let us breathe together,

So that you might prepare for the most wonderful sleep.
You follow madame's instructions and you breathe in your own time at your own pace,
Ensuring that when you breathe in,
You hold it at the top for a comfortable length of time.
Before releasing on a long,
Slow out-breath through your mouth.
And as you breathe,
Try to gradually slow everything down,
The in-breath becomes slow,
You hold it for a little longer,
And your out-breath extends until you have the urge to breathe in again.
You slow down now and focus only on your breath.
The wonderful smell of lavender still lingers through the room and the beautiful moonlight is singing you to sleep.
It is utterly hypnotic.

Continue to breathe in this way and give yourself permission to truly let go,

And you feel the hypnotic waves of the melody flowing around you,

And lulling you even deeper into a total tranquility.
The star is pulsing just above your forehead now,
And you can feel the muscles across the top of your head completely softening as any tension is dissolved,
Like a soft butter slowly melting.
This is a healing light,

You feel its wonderful magic softening your eyes,

Your jaw releases,

The star floats over your neck now,

As all of the muscles are slowly unravelling,
And any discomfort is being dissolved and sent far away tonight.
The pulsing silver star splits in two,
And each half ripples down your arms,
Softening each and every muscle along the way.
Your elbows release,
Your wrists are loose,
And your hands hang heavy by your side.
Gradually,
The two orbs merge back into one,
And the star pulses over your heart now,
Filling your chest with a wonderful warmth.
