Sarah encourages you to give yourself permission to carve some time out for yourself during the day to simply stop, rest and reset. Sarah guides you through this visualisation to a section of peaceful meditation before speaking again as she then brings you back into the present moment feeling refreshed and relaxed. She encourages you to listen again at any time you simply want to take some time out for yourself as each time the results will change. Welcome to Harnessing Happiness with myself,

Sarah J Naylor.

Thank you,

As always,

For stopping by and taking time to listen to my podcast.

Today,

I was thinking about the concept of just taking that time out to reset.

You know,

Obviously,

In a day-to-day basis,

It's important just to have and carve out some time to reset ourselves,

To rebalance,

To reprogram ourselves as best we can.

If you are driving or operating a machine or anything like that,

It might not be the time to listen to this episode.

In fact,

I would only encourage you to listen to this if you can sit still,

Sat without any distractions and certainly not be operating a machine or driving.

So I just want to take you on to a short guided visualisation,

Just to recharge yourselves.

So yes,

Before going any further,

Please stop doing what you're doing.

I'd like you to make yourself comfortable.

Find yourself a place just to sit and be comfortable and have both of your feet on the floor.

So in fact,

I'm going to follow my instructions as well.

So I am sat on my sofa.

I have my feet flat on the floor and I am going to close my eyes,

As are you,

And I'm going to take in three deep breaths.

So we're going to go in for four,

Two,

Three,

Four and out for four.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And then in for four,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And out for four,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And again,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And out for four,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And I want you to feel your feet really on the floor.

Get really grounded and almost feel that your feet are growing roots out of them and they are going through the Earth's surface.

They're going down through that layer of soil,

Tarmac,

Ground,

Whatever it is your feet are on.

And they're going down.

They're finding their way through the cracks in the Earth,

Really down to the centre of it until they find this really fabulous crystal.

If you're choosing,

It can be any colour,

But I want them to wrap themselves around that beautiful crystal and really anchor themselves deeply into that energy.

I want you to feel that energy coming up,

Swirling,

Swirling through those roots that are coming through your feet.

I want them to come up.

And you're feeling the energy coming up through the roots,

Slowly through the soil,

To the surface of the Earth,

To your ankles.

It's coming up and you can feel that energy coming up through the base of your foot to your ankle,

Through your calves,

Up to your knees,

Through your thighs and up through your torso,

Down through your arms,

Through your fingers,

But also up through your neck and through your head.

Then it comes out through your head,

Through your scalp,

Through your crown chakra.

I want you to feel that really crystal clear energy encircling your body.

And I want you to feel really relaxed as you are encircled and enveloped and embraced by this beautiful clear energy.

And I want you to just relax into that.

Take a few minutes just to feel the power of that clear,

Beautiful,

Crystal clear energy that's come up through the Earth,

Through that crystal,

The power that that's giving you to cleanse you,

To reset you,

To rebalance you.

And now I want you to look behind your eyes,

Behind the eyelids.

So you're focusing from your eyes onto your eyelids like it's a cinema screen.

And I want you to project onto there.

I want you to see yourself in the most beautiful,

Relaxing place,

Whether that is on the beach,

On the seashore,

Whether it's in a woodland by a running river.

I just want you to find that most relaxing place that you can be in and spend some time there.

Feel the energy that's coming into your body,

Whether it's from the lapping of the seashore,

Whether it's from the wind in the trees or the water trickling down that stream.

And just feel that pure,

Clean energy adding to that crystal energy that is around your body.

And just let it wash,

Wash over you.

Feel the energy,

The peace,

The clarity.

And really just take those few moments to just be in that beautiful,

Re-energising,

Empowering energy that brings you out of this short,

Guided meditation.

Just feel yourself embracing that,

Just that beautiful,

Peaceful,

Quiet energy.

And just for these two or three,

Few more minutes,

Sit in this space and just be.

Really start to bring your body back to life.

Move your fingers,

Move your toes,

Start to bring some movement back into your body and rub your hands together.

You're not wearing glasses like I am.

You can then rub your hands together,

Put them over your eyes and just feel the heat and the warmth coming from your eyes and let that radiate in.

Just now come back into the room and just feel how much more relaxed and reset you are.

It's only been a few minutes.

You will feel better and more calm.

Go and get yourself a glass of water,

A cold drink,

A cup of tea,

Whatever you fancy really.

But just go and spend another 5 or 10 minutes,

If you have that time available to you right now,

Just to go and spend just being peaceful because you will really,

Truly benefit from that.

And it is really powerful.

You can play it time and time again just when you want to spend some time resetting.
