Good morning.
Take a moment to stretch,
Greeting this morning by slowly waking up the body and inviting in a few deep breaths to welcome in the gift of this day.
Begin to deepen your breath,
Feeling your chest and belly expand on all sides as you inhale,
And as you exhale,
Arriving even more into the present moment,
Even deeper into the peace of this morning.
Continuing for a few more breaths,
Expanding and contracting your belly and ribcage like a balloon or accordion,
Inviting your body to take up more space through the breath as you cultivate an expansive container for your day ahead.
Morning is such a special time to set our intentions for the day and begin in a state of gratitude.
So settling into whatever breath is most nourishing to you will begin to turn our attention there.
Notice one thing you are grateful for this morning.
It could be a person in your life,
An experience,
Your surroundings,
Or even yourself.
Feel the gratitude wash over you,
Bathing you in a love and appreciation that will stay with you throughout your day.
Now in this grateful state,
Set a one-word intention for how you want to move through your day today.
This could be calm,
Productivity,
Love,
Energy,
Or whatever intention comes to mind for you.
See yourself moving through your day with this word as your anchor,
Rooting you into its essence,
A steady foundation for your day ahead.
Sitting and honoring the stillness and the presence of this moment,
The fullness and authenticity of you you'll carry through today before taking on the fullness of the day itself.
This sacred time you've carved out for yourself to simply be.
Finally,
We'll close with a shaping of the breath and an energy clearing for the day ahead.
Begin by envisioning a light at the base of the spine.
As you inhale,
Allow this light to travel up the central channel of the body,
Up your spine to the top of your head,
And as you exhale,
Allow the light to descend,
Resting back at your seat.
Continuing with this breath for a few moments,
Inviting the light to cleanse and clear your body and mind,
Preparing you for a bright day ahead.
Resting the light on your next breath at the center of your forehead,
And expanding it out beyond yourself,
Showering light all around you and bathing you in a peaceful glow.
This glowing light will carry you across the day ahead.
As you let yourself float here in this glowing form,
In this light you've created,
Illuminating your gratitude and your intention for today,
