You will be guided into a body scan to gently tense and then relax each part of your body, letting go of any tightness or discomfort you may feel. Through visualization, picture your worries as fluffy clouds floating away into the distance, leaving you with a sense of lightness and freedom. Positive affirmations will be incorporated to help ease you into a calm and restful sleep. Take this moment to unwind and release—it's a gift you're giving yourself. Let's begin our session today by finding a comfortable position and allow your eyes to close.

Take a gentle breath in,

Filling your lungs and exhale,

Slowly release and let go.

Breathing in.

And breathing out,

Connecting with the breath.

Breath rising.

Breath falling.

Breathing in,

Belly expanding.

And breathing out,

Releasing.

Breathing in.

And breathing out.

Bringing the awareness to the body and begin by focusing on your feet.

Tighten the muscles of your toes,

Curl them inward,

Hold for a moment and release.

Allow your toes now to relax completely.

Feel the sensation of relaxation spreading through your feet,

Like warm waves washing over them.

Soothing away any tension.

Now bring your awareness to your calves and shins.

Draw your toes back toward the knees,

Engaging through the calf muscles at the back of the legs,

Holding and releasing.

Breath in.

Breath out.

Letting go of any tightness here.

Breath in.

Breath out.

Notice how the muscles soften with each and every breath in and out.

Your awareness now toward the thighs,

The top of the legs and the buttocks.

Squeeze the muscles of the thighs,

Engage the buttocks and release.

Feel them relax and soften and allow the weight of your body to sink,

Sink into the support beneath you.

Breath in.

Breath out.

Surrender to this sensation now of deep relaxation.

Awareness to the belly area.

Inhale,

Expand the belly wide and exhale,

Release and let go.

The lower back.

Drawing the stomach in toward the spine,

Gently pressing the lower back into the floor beneath you and relax.

Awareness to the chest.

Upper back.

Draw the shoulders down and release.

Feeling the shoulders letting go.

The hands and the arms,

Gently pressing them down into the surface beneath you and releasing.

All muscles of the arms soften.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

As that gentle wave of calm flows over you.

Resting here.

Savouring the peace that now surrounds you.

Awareness to your mind and know that it's okay if the mind wanders.

And don't worry if you find it difficult to fully relax certain areas of the body.

Acknowledge any thoughts that arise.

And gently bring your focus back to the present moment by taking a breath in and a breath out.

Your body is relaxed.

With each breath in and out.

Bringing the awareness to any worries or any anxieties that might be weighing you down.

And visualise these worries as heavy clouds floating above you.

And with each breath,

Imagine yourself exhaling these clouds.

Releasing them into the sky.

And as you release them into the sky,

They are carried away by the gentle breeze.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

As you visualise the worries as clouds above you.

See if you notice each one taking on a specific shape and colour.

Each cloud representing different concerns or stresses in your life.

Perhaps one cloud represents personal relationships.

Another,

Health.

Whatever they may be,

Acknowledge them.

And know it's a natural experience within our lives to experience challenge and uncertainties.

With each breath in and out.

Imagine the clouds beginning to dissipate.

Their edges soften.

Their colours fade.

And they drift further and further away from you.

As the clouds continue to drift away.

Visualise the sky above you.

That sky becomes clearer and brighter.

The sun shining warmly on you.

It's the most perfect temperature.

And you allow yourself to bask in the warmth of this sunlight.

You feel its rays penetrating deep into your being.

You feel a sense of warmth.

A sense of comfort.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Focus now on some positive statements.

Mentally say,

I am worthy of love and happiness.

I release my worries and embrace peace.

I am enough.

Just as I am.

I am worthy of love and happiness.

I release my worries and embrace peace.

I am enough.

Just as I am.

Feeling the power of these positive statements resonating with you.

Reinforcing your sense of self-worth and inner strength.

Knowing you deserve love,

Kindness and peace.

One final time,

Mentally say,

I am worthy of love and happiness.

I release my worry and embrace peace.

Basking now in this positive energy that surrounds you.

Trusting in your ability to navigate life's challenges with grace and strength.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Resting.

Letting go.

Feeling a sense of calmness within.
