Welcome.

This meditation is here to help you return to calm through connecting with your heart.

My name's Sandhya.

You may wish to listen to this every day for one month to allow the practice to nurture gratitude within,

Even if life feels heavy.

Find a comfortable position and take some deep breaths in.

Each inhale,

Lungs expanding wide.

And each exhale,

Softening and settling.

As you breathe,

Bring the awareness to your chest,

Your heart center at the center of the chest.

And imagine a soft white light glowing here.

With each inhale,

Allow that light to expand,

Beginning to spread throughout your body.

This light is healing,

Soothing,

Steady,

And warm.

Feeling grateful for your breath,

Your heart,

Your lungs,

And your body that carries you through the day.

Allow this calm to fill you completely.

Gratitude helps to calm the nervous system and increases feelings of contentment and helps to regulate the nervous system.

So if you can,

Make this a daily practice.

May you carry this calm,

Grateful heart with you as you move forward through your day.
