Feeling safe in your body and your life is important not only for confidence but also to help your nervous system navigate stressors without constantly being strained. In this meditation, we use affirmations to induce relaxation by going in through the subconscious - so that each and every body system, organ, muscle and cell receives a message of safety, wellbeing, and security.

This is Ramey from Create Balance Method.

Thank you for joining me today in the I Am Safe meditation.

Let's first find a position of deep rest and comfort,

Perhaps laying down.

And if you do lay down,

Maybe prop some pillows underneath your knees.

Otherwise,

If you choose to sit up,

Making sure you have enough back,

Neck and head support for throughout the meditation.

Once you are in your position of rest,

Begin by taking some deep inhales through the nose and exhales out through the mouth.

I want your inhales to be a couple of seconds shorter and your exhales just to be a couple of seconds longer.

For example,

If you're inhaling for three counts,

Your exhales can be six or seven counts.

This activates the parasympathetic nervous system and it tells the body that it is safe to let go and it is safe to relax.

Keep the inhales and the long exhales going.

And now we are going to transition into breathing for four counts.

Inhale 1234,

Hold 1234.

Exhale 1234.

Inhale 1234.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Hold.

And release.

Normal breathing.

And then we will begin our second round.

Let's begin again.

Inhale 1234.

Hold.

Exhale 1234.

Inhale 1234.

Hold.

Exhale 1234.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

And release.

You will continue to relax as we go along.

I am safe.

The most secure person is not someone who has the best defenses,

But someone who needs no defenses.

Today,

We go deep into the consciousness to a state that is always calm and secure.

This is our consciousness.

Original and default state.

A level in which peace cannot be shaken and disrupted.

But without feeling and being rooted deep into this part of you.

Feeling safety and security is often short lived.

It is important to meditate and also return and connect back consciously with the feeling of being centered as quickly as your anxiety or powerlessness begins to develop.

So that it doesn't grow and doesn't overpower you.

You see,

Fear isn't necessary.

Don't be convinced by the thoughts.

Don't be convinced that the fear and the anxious thoughts are keeping you safe.

That is not true.

Om Dakini Nama Om Dakini Nama in Sanskrit means I activate my stability or security.

I want you to repeat this meditation or this affirmation slightly after me.

Om Dakini Nama.

You can also say it in your mind silently.

Om Dakini Nama.

Om Dakini Nama.

With each repetition,

Feel your body getting drenched in this mantra.

When you get distracted by thoughts,

By other sounds,

Or by sensations,

Come back and repeat the mantra in your mind,

Exaggerating how you enunciate the words for release.

Om Dakini Nama.

You are safe.

As you continue to breathe in your nose,

I want you to allow the exhales to escape your mouth.

You're inhaling the affirmation through your nose.

Om Dakini Nama.

And as you exhale out through your mouth,

Allow the second affirmation of I am safe to flow out,

Leaving through your mouth,

But also exiting your body completely.

And as it exits your body,

It creates a bubble of gold,

A bubble of love,

Protection,

And light.

This bubble you see cannot be penetrated by anything external or even stressors from your heart.

It incubates you with warmth,

With love,

With nourishment,

With safety,

Providing you with everything you will ever need.

This bubble is glossy and transparent and gold all at the same time.

As you breathe in the affirmation through your nose,

Om Dakini Nama,

With each inhale,

You feel the sense of safety and security radiate from head to toe,

Allowing your body to fully melt into gravity.

If there is anything that you are still holding onto,

This is the time to let it go.

You are releasing every cell,

Every muscle,

Every fiber of your being that threatens your sense of peace,

That challenges your notion of being okay.

This bubble will hold you close,

Incubating you with security,

Protection,

And love.

Continue to breathe through your nose,

Om Dakini Nama,

And continue to release through your mouth,

I am safe.

Keep this going for a few minutes,

Allowing your exhales to take out anything that challenges your sense of safety.

Good.

Keep this going.

Om Dakini Nama,

I am safe.

Allowing yourself to float in this ecstasy of security and safety,

Continuing in your bubble,

Knowing you have the strength,

The support,

The guidance,

The intuition to navigate this space.

Om Dakini Nama,

I am safe.

Choosing to return to this meditation whenever your sense of security gets threatened,

And also using the meditation mantras,

Om Dakini Nama,

I am safe,

Whenever you need during your day in moments of stress,

As you inhale through nose and exhale through mouth.

For now,

I want you to take deeper inhales,

Filling your lungs with fresh air replacing stale oxygen,

Wiggling your fingers,

Wiggling your toes.

And when you are ready,

You may slowly open your eyes,

Connect back with the body,

As it's been supporting you here for these minutes,

And enter back into your day.
