Welcome to reset your nervous system.
Give your body a sense of safety,
Centeredness and bring the mind to a calm place where comparison and harsh judgment soften as chocolate in the sun and begin by adjusting your body to feel completely supported,
Making yourself warm and taking a deep inhale,
Fill the lungs and then releasing long exhale.
Drawing the breath into your belly and release it through the mouth.
Inhale as you feel the belly expand and slowly exhale.
Inhale and holding the breath for 3,

Exhale it out.
A deep inhale,

Slowly exhale your heartfelt desire for this yoga nidra.
Even in stressful times I connect to my inner source of strength.

Notice how it feels as you repeat it mentally and we'll proceed with a rotation of consciousness.
We'll be sensing the body,
Being a kind,
Non-judgmental observer and welcoming,
Welcoming,
Welcoming everything.
Just as it is.
Sensations inside your mouth,
Inside of the right cheek,
Inside of the left cheek.
Sensing the teeth and gums.
Sensations in your jaw,
In your right cheek.
Sensing the right eyebrow,
The left eyebrow,
The center between the eyebrows and touch of the air on your forehead.
Relaxing your whole scalp,
Onto the left shoulder and the shoulder blade,
Left upper arm.
Sensations in your left palm,
Little finger and sensing all of the fingers and the entire left arm.
And then bringing your attention into the right shoulder,
The right shoulder blade,
Upper arm.
Little finger,
The fingers of the right hand at once.
The entire right arm,
Radiant with sensations.
And then moving your attention into your chest,
The chest.
Sensing the right hip,
The right heel and guiding the awareness onto your left hip,
Thigh and baby toe.
Sensing the entire left leg,
Spine,
Vertebrae by vertebrae.
Allowing your whole torso to melt down into the surface that it's in contact with.
Allowing your belly to be soft.
And then welcoming sensations of the entire body.
Sensations on the skin of your body.
And slowly shifting to a state of relax.
You are safe and supported.
As your whole nervous system resets.
This is a space to cherish yourself just as you are.
When we love ourselves,
We accept ourselves.
A rose is successful when it's particularly rose-like.
An oak is successful when it's particularly oak-like.
No natural being denies its fundamental character in order to fit in.
There's absolutely nothing that needs to be fixed about you.
You are already whole.
And with the exhale,
Release the judgement.
Can you be like that rose today?
Radiant and irresistible in your uniqueness.
Can you stand like that oak?
This is a space to remember your goodness.
Remember your godness.
And let's repeat our intention from the beginning of our nervous system reset.
I am centered,
Resilient and safe.
I act from a place of trust and wisdom.
Even in stressful situations,
I connect to my source of strength.
There's nothing I need to accomplish but my own growth and joy.
Nerves that fire together,
Wire together.
And as you repeat this intention,
Imprinting it on your nervous system,
You are wiring yourself towards making new and conscious choices that really serve you.
It is in these moments of non-doing that we create and integrate the calm energy to support us throughout the day.
And now,
Begin to deepen your breath.
Gently moving your fingers and toes and doing any other movement that your body now intuitively asks for.
Perhaps reaching the arms over the head,
Stretching the whole body.
And when you're ready,
Roll on to one side and still keeping your eyes closed.
Come into a sitting position.
Bring your palms together in front of your heart.
Feel yourself supported by the divine.
