Throughout the meditation,
You are invited to close your eyes or have a gentle gaze forward if that is comfortable for you.
Meditations can be done sitting up,
Lying down,
Or even standing.
Whatever it is that feels right for you.
If at any time you find the mind is wandering,
Gently smile at yourself and simply return the focus to the breath or to the guidance.
Now if it feels right for you,
With the breath gently closing the eyes or softening the gaze.
We will start with three deeper than normal breaths,
Inhale,
And on the exhale,
Letting go of any thoughts or worries,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Adjusting the body in any way needed,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Knowing that you are exactly where you need to be in this moment,
Returning the breath to a natural rhythm,
Bringing the awareness to your body,
Feeling the sensation of your breath as it moves in and out of the body,
Perhaps observing the rise and fall of your chest with each inhalation and exhalation,
Directing the attention to the sensation of the breath as it flows in the nostrils,
The back of the throat,
Inflates the lungs,
Deflates the lungs,
Up the throat,
And out the nostrils.
Returning the focus on this sensation of the breath flowing in and out of the body for a few moments,
Releasing the focus of the physical sensations of the breath,
And as you continue to breathe,
Visualizing yourself standing at the edge of a serene forest,
Picturing the beautiful trees standing tall and majestic,
Representing the journey of personal growth that lies ahead.
When you're ready,
Visualizing the entrance to this forest,
A gateway of self-discovery and transformation.
With each step,
Feeling the soft ground beneath your feet,
Connecting you to the earth and grounding you in this moment.
As you enter the forest,
Noticing the play of sunlight filtering through the leaves above,
Allowing this dappled light to symbolize the insights and moments of clarity that illuminate your personal growth journey.
Feeling the presence of the trees around you,
Each tree representing a different aspect of your life and experiences.
Some may be sturdy and strong,
Symbolizing your strengths,
While others may be more delicate,
Representing areas where growth is needed.
As you walk deeper into the forest,
Observing the natural beauty that surrounds you,
The vibrant colors of flowers,
The sounds of rustling leaves,
The scent of the earth,
Allowing the sensory experiences to mirror the richness of your own personal growth journey.
With each step,
Reflecting on the lessons and challenges that have shaped you,
Acknowledging the roots that anchor you to your values and the branches that reach toward new possibilities.
Noticing the interconnectedness of your experiences,
Just like the interwoven roots beneath the forest floor.
Now if it feels right for you,
Finding a comfortable spot to sit within the forest,
Taking a moment to connect with your inner self.
Breathe deeply,
Inhaling the rejuvenating energy of the forest,
And exhale any doubts or limitations.
Inhale rejuvenation,
Exhale doubt.
Inhale rejuvenation and confidence,
Exhale doubt and limitations.
Picture a small sapling in front of you,
Symbolizing your potential for growth and change.
With each breath,
Imagining this sapling growing stronger and stronger,
Its roots extending far into the ground and its branches reaching towards the sky.
Considering the intentions you have for your personal growth journey,
Envisioning them as seeds planted within the fertile soil of your consciousness.
With each breath,
Nourish these seeds with the energy of your being and the wisdom of the forest.
When you're ready,
When it feels right for you,
Releasing the vision of the forest,
Taking a few moments to simply be present with your body and your breath.
Allowing yourself to bask in the warmth of knowing that you are on the right path and everything will work out exactly how it is supposed to.
Gently bringing the focus back onto the physical sensations of the breath flowing in and out of the nostrils,
Feeling the sensation of the air flowing into and out of the body.
Inhaling the beautiful grounding and confidence that you've cultivated for yourself and exhale any lingering doubts or insecurities.
Inhale rejuvenation and confidence,

Keeping an awareness of your body where it is,
Taking a moment to express gratitude to yourself for carrying the sense of calm assurance with you into the rest of your day.
