Reconnect with the natural rhythm of life through this guided moon cycle meditation. In a world that constantly demands more, this practice invites you to slow down, tune in, and honor your inner cycles, just like the moon. This meditation takes you on a journey beneath a vast, starlit sky, where there’s no noise, no pressure—just you and the cosmos. As the moon moves through its phases, you’ll reflect on your own energy and discover where you are in your personal cycle: rest, growth, expression, or release.

Transcript

Welcome to this moon cycle meditation.

Finding a quiet place where you can fully arrive free from distractions.

Sitting or lying down in a way that feels open and comfortable.

Now when you're ready,

Gently closing the eyes or gazing softly forward.

Taking a slow,

Deep breath in and exhale with softness.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Feeling the air moving through your body.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Feeling the space around you beginning to soften.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Another deep breath in and a long,

Full breath out.

With each inhale,

Feel yourself arriving.

With each exhale,

Releasing any pressure to be anything other than exactly as you are.

Inhale into this present moment.

Exhale,

Relaxing and softening.

Inhale,

Exhaling.

Begin to ground yourself into the earth beneath you.

Imagine your body resting fully supported,

Safe,

As if the planet itself is holding you.

This earth has seen every cycle.

It knows how to hold you through stillness,

Through chaos,

Through rebirth.

You are safe to let go.

Now,

Allow your mind to wander gently into a quiet,

Sacred space beneath the night sky.

Visualize yourself sitting on soft ground,

Comfortable and somewhere far from the noise of modern life.

There are no streetlights,

No screens,

No interruptions.

Only you and the cosmos.

Above you,

A vast,

Star-filled sky stretches endlessly in every direction.

The air is the perfect temperature and smells so sweet and clean.

You feel it on your skin like a whisper from the universe.

The stars shimmer overhead and the moon grows brightly,

Steady,

Calm,

Eternal.

You are part of this.

You are made of this.

Breathe in the stillness.

Breathe out the noise.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Now,

Begin to tune into the moon.

Imagine her slowly cycling through her phases in the sky above you.

The new moon,

Dark and mysterious.

This is the space of planting intentions and retreating inward.

You are invited to rest,

Reflect,

And begin again.

The waxing moon grows brighter each night.

It calls you into motion,

Encouraging momentum,

Creativity,

And forward movement.

This is the energy of expansion,

Of rising into what you are becoming.

The full moon arrives in radiant brilliance.

It shines a light on all that is present.

A time to celebrate,

Express,

And see yourself clearly.

To honor how far you've come.

Then comes the waning moon,

Slowly dimming,

Inviting you to release what is no longer aligned.

Letting go,

Surrendering,

And returning inward for rest.

Breathe in and ask yourself,

Where am I?

In my own cycle right now.

Exhale and reflect upon where you are at.

Are you in a season of rest or creation?

Are you releasing or beginning again?

There is no right or wrong answer,

Only truth.

Let yourself land gently in whatever phase you are in.

Now,

If it feels right for you,

Placing a hand over your heart or your belly.

Feel the breath moving the body beneath your palm.

You are not separate from the moon.

You are not separate from the earth.

From the stars.

The cosmos live within you.

Though you are one small speck on this planet,

The power you hold is infinite.

The same energy that moves the tides flows through your blood.

The same gravity that holds the moon in orbit is the same force that keeps you grounded,

Centered,

And alive.

You do not have to force.

You do not have to rush.

You are allowed to move in rhythm with this life.

Each phase is sacred.

Each shift is necessary.

Each moment is part of your unfolding.

Take a deep breath in.

And release fully.

Inhale.

Exhale.

As you begin to return to this moment,

Remember that the moon will always return to light even after darkness.

She is your steady and reliable friend in the sky.

When life feels overwhelming,

When you feel disconnected,

You can always look up and know that you are not alone.

She will be there,

Constant,

Watching,

Reflecting your own cycles back to you.

As you breathe back into your body,

Carry this with you.

I am not behind.

I am not lost.

I am in rhythm.

I am flowing with life.

I am whole,

Exactly as I am.

When you are ready,

Gently begin to wiggle the fingers and toes.

Shifting the body in any way needed so that you feel supported and safe.

And when it feels right,

Place your hands over your heart and whisper a quiet thank you.

A thank you to yourself,

To this moment,

To the moon.

And with the breath,

Opening the eyes,

Carrying the wisdom of this night sky with you.

Let it guide you.

Let it remind you.

Let it root you in your own radiant rhythm.
