Hello and welcome,
Today we are going to do a self esteem affirmation meditation.
Begin by taking three deep breaths.
Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose,
Feeling your chest and belly rise as you feel your lungs flare.
Hold your breath for a moment at the top,
Then exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress.
With each exhale let go of negative thoughts or judgements about yourself.
Continue to breathe normally and turn your attention to the point of contact between your body and the chair or the floor.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the earth beneath you,
Imagine a cord extending from the base of your spine down into the earth,
Grounding you.
Feel centred and stable,
Ready to cultivate positive energy.
Begin to silently repeat affirmations that reinforce your sense of self esteem.
With each affirmation imagine embedded these positive beliefs deeper into your consciousness.
Repeat to yourself,
I am worthy of respect and kindness.
I believe in my abilities and express them freely.
Every day in every way my self esteem is growing.
I am a valuable and capable person.
Allow yourself to feel the truth and power of these words as you say them.
I am worthy of respect and kindness.
I believe in my abilities and express them freely.
Every day in every way my self esteem is growing.
I am a valuable and capable person.
Again repeat,
I am worthy of respect and kindness.
I believe in my abilities and express them freely.
Every day in every way my self esteem is growing.
I am a valuable and capable person.
I am worthy of respect and kindness.
I believe in my abilities and express them freely.

Take a few deep breaths bringing your awareness back to the present moment.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and when you feel ready gently open your eyes.
Take a moment to acknowledge the work you've done in this meditation and carry forward this sense of increased self-esteem into your day.
