Explore MeditationPat Hutchinson is self-taught as there was precious little available in the late 1980s and early 1990s when she needed it. She knows from experience that learning how to reduce stress levels to take control of one’s life needs to be easy and quick. After doing much research and creating a program for herself, she put together a program for people who were asking her what they could do to reduce their stress levels since they had observed the changes in her. She has taught relaxation and guided meditation since the mid-1990s while holding a full-time position as a civil servant and studying at night to complete her Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition. She ran relaxation classes at night for people referred by doctors, therapists, and friends. She taught modified workshops to students at the University of Guelph Ontario and students attending a high school co-op program in Ajax Ontario. Once retired she taught these classes at the Ministry of Finance in Oshawa. Pat took early retirement from her civil servant position and immediately professionally recorded the content of her workshops to provide more people with the opportunity to teach themselves the techniques, reduce their stress, and utilize the power of their minds. She has now uploaded the content of these CDs to Insight Timer, as well as the other CDs she has recorded.
