Rest easy dear ones.

Now is the time to calm your bodies and listen.

You can follow along with my words,

Letting your mind create pictures.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold,

And slowly breathe out.

Let's do that again.

Deep breath in,

Hold,

And slowly breathe out.

It's cold outside.

Let's take a magical winter ride.

Winter is coming.

There's cold in the air.

There's frost on the windows and coats hang on chairs.

Smoke billows from chimneys.

Holiday songs are sang.

Hot cocoa in my hand while icicles hang.

I inhale deep and smell its sweetness and I exhale long.

Then I pause and release it.

Then I take a sip and I'm so grateful.

Family and food,

A warm nourishing plateful.

I feel the love welling up in my chest.

When we're filled with gratitude,

There's no room for stress.

Gratitude is a feeling like a hug from the earth and I smile for the warmth that winter can birth.

Then the dry cold calls us out to play.

Time for coats,

Hats,

And gloves on a snowy winter day and warm cozy boots as we bundle up and go.

We create snow people as the snowflakes blow.

We make snow angels,

Sled hills and throw snow high and catch flakes on our tongue that fall from the sky.

We explore the wonderland where wildlife tracks show as we watch the blankets of cold grow and grow.

Created by a rainbow of light turned white,

Complex sparkling crystals twinkle in the moonlight.

We see tiny pieces of frozen waterfall,

Each one completely unique,

Just like each one of you all.

What does your snowflake look like?

What do your eyes see?

Some are big and fluffy.

Some are tiny and glittery.

Some stick together and others pour like sand.

Magic crystal shapes that melt in your hand.

Where do they come from?

And where will they go?

Snowflakes are special.

Just like us,

You know.

They're reminders of the tiny wonders of our world.

Little magical ice crystals that dance and swirl.

So please remember,

As you change and grow,

From spring to summer,

And then fall to snow.

Just like the creatures with the warmest fur,

The gifts that you share create warmth in the winter.
