In moments of fear, self-doubt, anger, or misunderstanding, it's easy to become entangled in a self-limiting storyline. This meditation invites you to gently return to the present, not by pushing thoughts or feelings away, but by witnessing & welcoming them with awareness. Featuring the soothing tones of the handpan, this sound meditation offers a grounding space to sit with your emotions without becoming them. Let the music & breath guide you back to your center: laugh, let go, and enjoy the present. Perfect for starting or ending your day with a sense of calm, trust & presence.

Transcript

It's so difficult sometimes not to chase the thoughts or chase the emotions or to try to stop them,

To control them,

As opposed to just allowing them.

Welcome my friend,

You're tuned back with another music meditation,

Just to see what's perhaps even joyful,

Peaceful,

That said getting comfortable,

You're safe to close the eyes,

Tuning deeper inside,

Witnessing and welcoming the mind,

Witnessing and welcoming emotions,

Sensations,

Overwhelmed,

All is welcome like old friends,

Exhale love for this life,

And very gently,

Very softly,

Exhale letting go,

Becoming empty of breath,

Letting go of all the air in your lungs,

Just be empty,

Taking a deep breath in,

Becoming aware of your awareness,

And exhale letting go,

Way to stay with it,

Happy to have you joining me today,

Taking a deep breath in,

If your mind has been wanting to think,

Allowing the mind total freedom,

To think,

Three exhales out the nose,

Relaxing the face,

Relaxing the belly,

Know that you're breathing,

Know that you're alive,

You live to see another day,

But it won't always be that way,

Keeping that in perspective,

Can keep the stress in perspective,

When you remember impermanence,

Not in a morbid,

Heavy way,

But in a freeing,

Light and grounded way,

The color for today,

Is 757,

Is a hippopotamus,

I thank you for joining me,

Across time and space,

I'm sending you a big hug,

My dear friend,

Wishing you an abundance of love,

Resourcefulness,

Creativity,

Consciousness,

Being conscious of your being,

Not the thinking mind,

Not the emotions or sensations,

But of something that is just being within that,

The witness,

If you like to call it that,

The observer,

These are all just words to point towards something that is aware of the impermanent thoughts and emotions circulating,

Always changing,

And if I just observe inwardly,

I can see that it's so difficult sometimes not to chase the thoughts or chase the emotions,

Or to try to stop them,

To control them,

As opposed to just allowing them with some spaciousness,

And with that,

I will see you back here tomorrow,

With love.
